Shaik Rafi

Shaik Rafi is an Indian Politician of YSRCP and Sevadal Constituency President of Pulivendula in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

Childhood and EducationL

On 05th of December 1993, Shaik Rafi was born to a couple of Mr. Shaik Madav Sab and Mrs: Chanbi resided in the village of Vempalli in Kadapa District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

Fast forward to the year 2012, Shaik Rafi achieved his Secondary Board of Education from Zilla Parishad High School in Vempalle. He continued his educational journey by completing his Intermediate studies at Putta Narasimha Reddy College in Kamalapur.

Career in Politics:

In the year 2009, Shaik Rafi was drawn into politics by joining the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) founded by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and President of YSRCP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Since the date of joining, he has been working incredibly as a YSRCP Party Activist working hard for the welfare of the people, constantly striving for the development of society, and has rendered desperate services to society.

In 2016, Shaik Rafi assumed the position of District Social Media Incharge of Kadapa. As the District President, he played a key role in overseeing and coordinating various administrative and organisational activities within the district. 

His ongoing dedication and true attention gained him the position of YSRCP Sevadal Constituency President of Pulivendula in 2019, and he has since served the welfare of society by carrying out his duties properly and in accordance with the rules and regulations.

The position of Ward Member for Vempally Mandal in Kadapa District was also contested by Shaik Rafi in the year 2019, but it has been vacated due to a minor difference in the voting percentage. 

As a State Youth Organizer of Rajanna Racha Banda from Andhra Pradesh in 2022, he demonstrated his commitment to the people by continuously working for their well-being, and college development, and striving hard for their benefit.

Party Activities:

 

Participation in Pada Yatra with Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy:

During the election period, Shaik Rafi embarked on a significant journey known as the “Pada Yatra” alongside YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the leader of the YSRCP. The Pada Yatra is a form of political campaigning and public outreach commonly practiced in India. Politicians and party leaders walk long distances to connect with the masses and understand their issues.

By participating in the Pada Yatra alongside YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Shaik Rafi demonstrated his strong support for the YSRCP’s political ideology and its leader. This joint effort aimed to engage with the people directly, listen to their concerns and convey the party’s vision and promises.

During the Pada Yatra, Shaik Rafi and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy likely walked through various villages, towns, and rural areas, interacting with residents, understanding their challenges, and addressing their grievances. This personal and on-the-ground approach allows political leaders to establish a direct connection with the people, build trust, and communicate their plans for development and governance.

The Pada Yatra allows politicians to observe and comprehend the realities faced by the common citizens and showcase their commitment to grassroots-level politics. Shaik Rafi participation in the Pada Yatra alongside YS Jagan Mohan Reddy indicates his dedication to connecting with the electorate, understanding their needs, and working towards their welfare.

• Shaik Rafi has consistently engaged in advocating against the anti-people decisions made by both the central and state governments. He has actively organised numerous protests and dharnas to voice his opposition.
• Furthermore, Shaik Rafi has dedicated himself to various social service activities, diligently striving to bring attention to and garner support for numerous state and central government schemes. Additionally, he has worked to maintain strong and cordial relationships with individuals from all walks of life and leadership.
• Notably, he has been an active participant in the Dharnas and Rallies organized by the YSRCP Party. He has demonstrated his commitment by addressing and resolving issues raised within the party, displaying unwavering dedication.
• Shaik Rafi firmly believes that the party’s ideology should revolve around addressing unemployment rather than being divided by religious or caste lines. He was deeply drawn to the party’s ideologies and is fully committed to working diligently for its growth and success.

Welfare & Social Activities:

 

• He served the elderly and needy people in the community by supplying them with the necessities of life and by assisting them through times of financial hardship.
• He played an active role in ensuring that help programs for the poor were in place and that they were able to survive their existence.
• Shaik Rafi offered financial support as well as other kinds of relief to the village’s needy people and will be accessible to the village’s residents during their tough times.
• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals and orphans who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.

Covid Activities:

• During the first and second waves of Corona, he offered financial and humanitarian assistance to people impacted by the lockdown. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, assisting those in need and extending further support to those who had been victimised by the lockdown.

• Throughout the crisis, he responded selflessly, supporting those in need and offering special attention to those who had been afflicted by the lockdown. Face masks, hand sanitizers, and lunches were handed to the least fortunate, as well as cash assistance.
• He has been distributing vital supplies to aid water-scarce places due to the social distance created by the Covid-19 restrictions.
• Shaik Rafi snuck out to help those who had been devastated by the lockdown by distributing veggies and fruits to communities, the homeless, and Municipality workers according to the standard protocol.
• A protest was held to raise awareness about social distance and the need to adopt preventative measures in order to prevent the Corona Epidemic from developing.
• When the coronavirus was ultimately eradicated, villagers were sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution to guarantee that they were not exposed to any negative consequences.
