Childhood and Education:
Mr. Putta Laxman, born on 10th June 1992, hails from Uppal Depot, Medipally, Medchal Malkajgiri, Telangana. His father, Lingam, and mother, Rohinamma, instilled in him the values of dedication and service.
Putta Laxman successfully completed his SSC from Sri Sarada Vidyamandir High School, Buddanagar, Uppal Depot, in 2007, followed by Intermediate from Silver Jubilee Junior College, Habsiguda in 2009. He earned his graduation degree from SV Degree College, Ramanthapur, showcasing his dedication to academic excellence. Taking another stride in education, he pursued an MBA at KIET College, Edulabad. Further enhancing his knowledge and skills. He delved into law and completed his LLB from PMR, Chinthalkunta, LB Nagar.
Early Involvement with AISF (2007-2009)
Mr. Putta Laxman embarked on his political journey in 2007 by joining the All India Students Federation (AISF). In the same year, he took on the responsibility of Mandal President in Ghatkesar, showcasing his early dedication to grassroots leadership.

PUTTA LAXMAN’S IMPACTFUL STANDS IN PROTESTS AND DHARNAS
- CPI State Secretary Koonanneni Sambasivarao and AISF State Secretary Putta Laxman voiced their support for the AISF, SFI, PDSU student unions protesting at Osmania University Arts College. They demanded transparency in filling TSPSC posts and the removal of the TSPSC chairman for an inquiry into examination paper leaks.
- AISF State Secretary Putta Laxman, along with student leaders were unlawfully arrested during Putta Laxman’s Pragati Bhavan siege, demanding KCR’s response to the AISF State Council’s call for the removal of the TSPSC Chairman as the Chairman’s actions impacting the unemployed were a central concern.

- AISF State Committee organized a protest in front of the Reliance Brand Factory in Himayat Nagar, advocating the boycott of Reliance products to support farmers against corporate exploitation.
- AISF Medchal District Committee organized a Rasta Roko on the Warangal National Highway under the All India Student Federation’s auspices in support of the nationwide “Bharat Bandh” called by the All India Peasant Struggle Coordination Committee.

- Under the guidance of the AISF Nizamabad District Committee, a conference on “Secularism Preservation” was organized by AISF State Secretary Putta Laxman at the local press club.
- AISF State President Manikantha Reddy and Secretary Putta Laxman attended the final match of the “Bhagat Singh Cricket Tournament” in Moinabad, hosted by AISF and AIYF Rangareddy District Committees. The winning team received prizes in recognition of their achievements.
- AISF Nalgonda District Council meeting took place in Nalgonda town at Makhdum Bhavan. Telangana State Chief Secretary Putta Laxman was the chief guest, addressing the gathering and discussing future student movements.
- AISF State President Kasireddy Manikantha Reddy and Secretary Putta Laxman expressed concerns about the BJP government at the center, accusing it of neglecting the constitution written by Baba Saheb Ambedkar and undermining constitutional rights.

- AISF Telangana State Council commemorated the 115th birth anniversary of Sardar Bhagat Singh at Hyderabad Makhdoom Bhavan. CPI national executive members Chada Venkata Reddy and CPI State Secretary Koonanneni initiated a blood donation camp and conducted a ceremony including the release of 115 red and white balloons.
- Minister Chamakura Mallareddy joined in the submission of a petition addressing the problems of students, youth, and the public. The request aimed to bring these issues to the Chief Minister’s attention for resolution.
- The AISF Ghatkesar Mandal 3rd Mahasabha took place at Sri Chaitanya College, Ghatkesar. The election of the mandal committee occurred in the presence of AISF District Construction Officer E. Uma Mahesh.
- AISF Medchal District Committee conducted a house-to-house campaign to support the election of the Communist Party of India candidate “E. Mahesh Yadav” in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Elections.
- On the 85th anniversary of AISF, a sapling program was organized district-wide. Saplings were planted in government educational institutions under the jurisdiction of Janta Municipal Corporation in Medipalli mandal.
- A petition was submitted to Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy by AISF, urging the cessation of fee exploitation by corporate educational institutions and the cancellation of examination fees for tenth class and intermediate students.
- The “All India Farmer Coordination Committee” initiated an indefinite agitation at Indira Park, demanding the repeal of pro-corporate agricultural laws, withdrawal of the Electricity Amendment Act, and enactment of the Minimum Support Price Guarantee Act.
- On the occasion of the 85th foundation day, the Akhil Bharat Vidyarthi Samakhya Medchal district committee organized a flag unveiling program in front of the local Uppal Depot AISF office. Shweta Aruna’s flag was hoisted during the ceremony, and the Chief Guest was AISF Telangana State General Secretary.
- In opposition to the “New Education Policy 2020” Bill introduced by the Central Government, copies of the bill were publicly burned in front of OU Arts College. The state committees of the Left Student Unions led this protest against the policy.
- Student unions, including AISF, SFI, PDSU, and AIDSO, advocated for the postponement of July entrance exams due to the pandemic. They also supported the promotion of final year students without conducting exams. In Narayanaguda square, an effigy of the government was burned in solidarity with this cause.
- AISF Telangana State General Secretary, Putta Laxman , visited a village school as the chief guest on Republic Day. He hoisted the national flag and delivered an inspiring speech to mark the occasion.
- In a display of community support, financial contributions were made for election campaigns. Ramesh a fitness trainer, received 10,000 rupees, while Balayya provided 5,000 rupees. Additionally, Zakir the head of True Post channel, contributed 5,000 rupees for election campaign expenses.

- During the challenging COVID-19 period, Laxman exemplified true leadership by working tirelessly for 38 days.
- He provided essential supplies, conducted Annadanam, distributed masks and sanitisers, organised blood donation camps, and ensured health camps for the well-being of the people.
- The release of examination results faced delays attributed to the postponement of final year exams during the previous academic year (2021-2022) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This delay has raised concerns, particularly for students in certain courses who risk losing eligibility for applying to the Junior Lecturer positions. AISF Telangana State Secretary, Putta Laxman, has advocated for the rights of these students, demanding that they be given a fair opportunity. A petition addressing these concerns has been submitted to Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Secretary, Anita Ramachandran, urging a thorough examination of the issues and equitable resolutions for all candidates involved.
- In response to the call from the AISF National Council to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to all citizens, protest programs were systematically organized in various regions. These initiatives reflect the collective effort to advocate for accessible healthcare and ensure the well-being of the entire population. The AISF, under the guidance of its National Council, continues to engage in activities aimed at addressing crucial societal issues, such as health and education, for the benefit of the nation.
- Under the auspices of Medchal District AISF, essential goods were distributed to 80 families severely affected by the lockdown. This initiative took place in the jurisdiction of Peerzadiguda Municipal Corporation, with the participation of Malkajgiri ACP Narsimha Reddy, Medipalli CI Anjireddy, and local corporator Raju.
