In my journey, I have focused on empowering communities and advocating for social justice. As a district-level hockey player and coach, I have helped young talent grow by guiding 30 players to national competitions across different levels. Organizing sports events and providing game kits to underprivileged athletes has been a fulfilling experience. These efforts have encouraged a love for sports and fostered a competitive spirit among the youth, instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Watching these young athletes thrive has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my involvement in sports.
My political career began with the Indian National Congress (INC), driven by a strong desire to serve the people of Guntur. Starting as a District Officer, I worked my way up to State Secretary and now serve as the National President of Mala Mahanadu. Throughout these roles, I have prioritized inclusive governance and community development, ensuring that the needs of all citizens, especially the marginalized, are addressed. Establishing the GRK Foundation has been a significant step in my mission to uplift marginalized communities through comprehensive education, healthcare, and economic empowerment support. This foundation symbolizes my commitment to creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for those in need.
Throughout my political journey, I have actively participated in social movements, standing up for the rights of SC and ST communities. I have organized sit-ins and statewide press conferences to raise awareness and garner support for these marginalized groups. My dedication to humanitarian efforts is evident in my actions, such as funding daily food distribution during the COVID-19 pandemic. These initiatives have provided immediate relief to those in need and highlighted the importance of sustained support and advocacy for vulnerable populations.
The GRK Foundation is one of my significant contributions, reflecting my dedication to uplifting marginalized communities. The foundation focuses on providing scholarships, health camps, and skill development programs, aiming to offer opportunities for a better life to everyone. The GRK Foundation seeks to empower individuals and communities to become self-sufficient and thrive by addressing educational gaps, healthcare needs, and economic challenges. This initiative is driven by the belief that every person deserves the chance to lead a dignified life and contribute meaningfully to society.

Born on June 22, 1987, in the vibrant city of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Mr Golla Arun Kumar’s educational journey began at SKBM Municipal Corporation High School in Agraharam, Guntur. From an early age, he exhibited a remarkable commitment to his studies, striving for good grades and academic excellence in every subject. His hard work and dedication bore fruit when he successfully acquired his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2002. This achievement marked the culmination of his primary education and laid a solid foundation for his future academic endeavours.
Intermediate and Technical Training
With a thirst for knowledge and a vision for the future, Mr Golla Arun Kumar continued his educational journey at Hindu College in Guntur. From 2004 to 2005, he completed his Intermediate education, where he delved deeper into various subjects, further honing his intellectual abilities. Understanding the growing importance of technical skills in the modern world, he decided to enrol in the Government ITI College in Guntur. From 2005 to 2007, he underwent intensive training, mastering practical skills and gaining technical knowledge that would prove invaluable in his professional life.
