CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:
Dr. G. Samatha, born on December 20, 1979, hails from the village of Barkatpura in Hyderabad, situated within the Indian state of Telangana.
Her educational journey began at Vivekananda Residential School in Karimnagar in 1995, where she obtained her Secondary Board of Education qualification. Later, she completed a two-year Intermediate course at Government Girls College, also located in Karimnagar in 1997.
In 2005, she successfully completed her MBBS degree, and subsequently, she achieved her MS in Ophthalmology.
FELLOWSHIPS:
In 2008, Samatha embarked on a fellowship program at the LV Prasad Eye Institute.
She pursued a fellowship focused on the Anterior Segment at Shankar Nethralaya in Chennai.
Samatha also completed fellowships at both Aravinda Eye Hospitals, located in Madurai and Coimbatore, as part of her extensive training.
Her journey extended to Mahidol University in Thailand, where she undertook a fellowship program.
Additionally, she furthered her expertise in hospital management and administration through a fellowship at Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai.
ABOUT THE PARTY:
In 2014, Samatha joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), driven by her desire to serve the people and bring about positive change in their lives. She quickly rose through the ranks and established himself as a dedicated party activist, working tirelessly to promote the BJP’s ideology and goals.

Member of All India Padmashali Doctors Association:
In 2023, Samatha became a member of the All India Padmashali Doctor’s Association, marking the beginning of her journey with the organization. Over time, she demonstrated her value through dedicated and responsible service to the community.
As a General Secretary of All India Padmashali Doctor’s Association:
Recognizing her commitment, Samatha was subsequently appointed as the General Secretary of the All India Padmashali Doctor’s Association. In this role, she continued her unwavering dedication to serving the community through the association’s endeavors.
They were all brought into the BJP party with the aim of uniting the entire Padmasali community under one umbrella.
PROJECTS DONE BY SAMATHA:
- In 2015, Samatha, representing the Google AI Project on Diabetic Eye Care and Eye Diseases from India, participated in initiatives alongside the World Health Organization.
- Samatha, as a representative from India, took part in the Asian Youth Summit in 2022.
- She actively participated in Indizenious Ventilator Manufacturing while also taking on the responsibility of preparing and presenting a significant social project related to indigenous medical equipment for the pharmaceutical and drug industry in India.
ACTIVITIES:
- Samatha introduced all of the Padmashali members to the BJP party, aiming to unify them under a single banner.
- Samatha gave free eye treatment to nearly 2 lakh people from Hyderabad to Karimnagar.

- During the Carona Period along with Medical Services, Vaccination, She served money to the people who are infected with Black Fungus.
- During the COVID-19 pandemic, Samatha played an active role in helping the people in his constituency. She took part in various activities, such as distributing masks and sanitizers and providing food, vegetables, and medicine to the needy.
- She also organized campaigns to create awareness about the importance of social distancing, maintaining hygiene, and boosting immunity to fight against the virus.
- Understanding the challenges faced by many individuals and families during the pandemic, Samatha recognized the importance of ensuring access to basic necessities.
- She organized and led initiatives to distribute food items to the underprivileged sections of society who were severely impacted by the economic consequences of the pandemic.
