Yelika Ramanaiah

Yelika Ramanaiah is an Indian Politician of YSRCP and BC-Cell Mandal President for Veligandla at Prakasam in the State of  Andhra Pradesh.

Early Life and Education:

On the 14th of November 1973, Ramanaiah was born to a couple Mr. Chandrayya and Mrs. Ranamma resided in the village of Kanigiri Taluk from Veligandla at Prakasam in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

In 1988, Ramanaiah acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Zilla Parishad High School at Kanigiri in Andhra Pradesh.

A career in Politics:

In 1991, Yelika Ramanaiah began his Political Career by entering the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and continued rendering services to the people of TDP.

Ramanaiah was a sincere TDP Party Activist right from his joining and propagating its principles from the beginning. He has been deeply attracted by the policies and ideals of the party and the vision of our great leader, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

He was elected as the Sarpanch of Kanigiri by the TDP in 2006 he held the position of sarpanch for 5 years to serve the people and address the concerns brought up by efficiently carrying out his duties and abiding by the party’s principles and rules.

After a position as a Sarpanch for 5 years, Ramanaiah entered the YSR Congress Party(YSRCP) and continued rendering services to the people of YSRCP as a Party Activist.

He was in the YSRCP for 8 Years as an Active Member. After that he was appointed as a  BC-Cell Mandal President in 2021. He has worked tirelessly for the community, thought about their welfare, and gained their ultimate respect.

Ever since he started rendering services to the people with the assigned authority, he has constantly been working for them, thinking about their welfare and gaining immense admiration from the People.

Family Participation in Politics:

Ramanaiah was inspired by his family member Venkateshwarlu. He was in politics and rendered services to the people. Late. Venkateshwarlu was a Teacher before joining politics.

Party Activities:

•  Ramanaiah has been struggling hard for the rights and reservations of the Kanigiri People to grant them loans, pensions, and other schemes that benefit their lives.
• He has constantly been fighting against anti-people decisions of the central and state governments and has staged many protests and dharnas.
•  Ramanaiah expressed that the effort would be possible only with the TDP party to develop Dalits, minorities, the poor, and minorities in society.
• An awareness seminar was organized on behalf of the party in the village and in the zone to brief the people on the Chandranna welfare schemes. Pamphlets were distributed to give them brief information.

Social Activities:

• Roads were built under his rule as part of the colony’s socioeconomic growth, and the program also included road damage rehabilitation.
• Whenever a political figure’s birthday is recognized, Ramanaiah uses the occasion to organize a blood drive and hold an Annadanam celebration in his community.
• He addressed several problems in the community by raising awareness of them and distributing White Ration Cards and pensions for the town’s widows, elderly, and handicapped residents.
• He conducted several party meetings and community development initiatives. He promoted welfare development and spoke up for the underprivileged.
• When By Reddy Siddharth Reddy visits Kanigiri  Ramanaiah used to participate and inform about the welfare made by him and the problems Faced by the People in the Village.
• He financially supported the Temples of about 10,000 each. He supported most of the 6 temples in the village during the one year.
• He helps with the sanction of Pensions and Passbooks to the old aged People in the Kanigiri Village. 
• Ramanaiah solves the issues faced by the people in the Village related to the Police Station.

Pandemic Activities:

• During Corona’s first and second waves, he offered financial and humanitarian assistance to people impacted by the lockdown. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, assisting those in need and extending further support to those who the lockdown had victimized.
• Ramanaiah was the first person to start the Pandemic activities in the Village. He took the initiative to help the people during the Covid pandemic Time.
• Throughout the crisis, he responded selflessly, supporting those in need and offering special attention to those afflicted by the lockdown. Face masks, hand sanitizers, and lunches were handed to the least fortunate, as well as cash assistance.
• Ramanaiah snuck toward helping those who had been devastated by the lockdown by distributing veggies and fruits to communities, the homeless, and Municipality workers according to the standard protocol.
• To combat the spread of the pandemic in Corona, he has organized an awareness campaign focusing on the need to keep a safe distance from infected individuals and use appropriate safety precautions.
• The residents of the village, as well as others who were in need, received vegetables and fruits from him. The Covid-19 vaccination and the consequences of the virus were the subjects of awareness campaigns at camps and seminars.
• The region that is contaminated with the coronavirus has been designated as a red zone, and residents have been informed of the necessary safety measures and precautions to take.
