Vuppala Shravan Kumar

Vuppala Shravan Kumar is an Indian Politician of TRS and TRSKV Constituency President of LB Nagar in the Indian State of Telangana.

Childhood and Education:

On the 04th of May 1968, Shravan Kumar was born to a couple, Mr. Vuppala Venkataiah and Mrs. Vuppala Ramalingamma resided in the village of Saroornagar in Ranga Reddy District in the Indian State of Telangana.

In 1982, Shravan Kumar acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Peoples High School at Ashok Nagar and completed his Intermediate from Nrupatunga Junior College at Narayanaguda in 1984.

A career in Politics:

In 1989, Shravan Kumar joined the Indian National Congress (INC) Party, founded by the Dadabhai Naroji and headed by Sonia Gandhi, to address the people’s political requirements while presenting a modest service.

Shravan Kumar has been representing the INC and contributing to the development of society since the day he joined the party by executing his tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

For his constant dedication and efforts for the welfare of the people in 1989, Shravan Kumar was appointed as the INTUC Member of Telangana by Congress Party by working hard to put an end to the problems and inconvenience of the Students.

The International Federation of Trade Unions was an international organization of trade. The Communist-controlled trade unions opposed the IFTU. Shravan Kumar played a vital role as a Member of IFTU in 1996.

His dedication and true attention gained him the elected position of Constituency EC Member of LB Nagar in 1996. He has since served the welfare of society by carrying out his duties correctly and by the rules and regulations.

Having been greatly motivated by the effort and services offered to the people by the Kalvakunlta Chandra Sekhar Rao, the current Chief Minister of the State of Telangana, Shravan Kumar his political career in 2001 by becoming a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

He exposed his leadership skills by serving as the Party Activist and working all the time for the welfare of humankind comprehensively by citing the code of conduct and disciplinary issues.

Upon Joining, he was elected as Greater Hyderabad Vice President twice in 2004 and 2006 to serve the people and tackle the issues raised by executing his tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

His unwavering commitment and effort gained him the position of Greater Hyderabad General Secretary in the year 2006. He has constantly been working for the people, thinking about their welfare, and gaining immense admiration from the people.

After receiving the authority and performing every activity as his responsibility for the welfare of the people, Shravan Kumar was designated as the TRSKV Constituency Incharge of LB Nagar in 2010. Since then, he has been executing his responsibilities following a code of conduct and for the recognition’s benefit.

A career in the Community:

He established Telangana Auto Drivers Paryaveksham Samithi in the state of Telangana. Since the establishment, he imparted a sense of affirmation and a desire to serve, constantly attempting for the well-being of society and articulating his views of service.

For the recognition of his services and honors, he has been remarked as FOUNDER & PRESIDENT of Telangana Auto Drivers Paryaveksham Samithi.

Telangana Movement:

Shravan Kumar was a Telangana Activist. During Telangana Movement, i.e., from 2004-2014, Shravan Kumar played an active role and fought to create a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing condition of Andhra Pradesh in India.

He set up a Vanta Varpu during the period of Rasta Roko and in programs of Sakala Jamula Samme, and many more dharnas and rallies were held in continuous movement.

He participated in many social Programs and was involved in Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharan’s to form Telangana as a separate State.

Activities Performed On Behalf of TADPS:

• Rules and Regulations to the Auto Drivers.
• Provide Loans to Auto Drivers.
• Clearance of RTO Problems.
• Clearing Police Station Problems.

TRSKV Activities:

• Shravan Kumar communicated the issues that were being experienced by the staff to the management of the organization and also was successful in resolving the problems.
• Shravan Kumar and the other workers participated in a dharna to motivate an increase in the wages of the workers.
• Shravan Kumar has solved all of the issues regarding the provision of funds that the firm provided to the company employees.
• Additionally, Shravan Kumar resolved the legal problems with the staff members.

Party Activities:

• He set up and engaged in every Mandal level and Village level meeting at his own cost and delivered speeches by motivating the youngsters and the upcoming leaders. 
• Suppose anyone in the village encounters any problem. In that case, Shravan Kumar will be at the forefront of the problem, and he is not limited to his services to the village but extends to the people of the entire district.
• Shravan Kumar has performed many social activities in the village, such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children, Mineral water to the Villagers.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, drainage, and every minute problem to the individual.
• He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the bare essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during financial crises.
• Many service activities were organized, including blankets for beggars, clothes for the poor, and food for orphaned children.

Social Activities:

• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people in the village and zone.
• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying CC Roads, Digging Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare.
• By notifying the issues in the village, he solved many problems and gave Pensions like -Widow Pension,old-age pensions, Handicapped Pension, and also dispensed White Ration Cards for in the town.
• During his reign, roads were constructed as part of the colony’s socioeconomic development, and damaged roads were repaired as part of the program.

Pandemic Activities:

• He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the essentials for their survival and assisted them during financial crises.
• The pandemic had a devastating effect on people’s life. During the Covid crisis, it was challenging for regular people to stay alive.
• Shravan Kumar was a responsible leader who maintained to contribute even when the situation was terrible.
• During the Pandemic Period, he handed out fruit, meal packets, and water bottles to the people living by the roadsides. In addition, he provided free blankets to those individuals. He donated monetarily to the cause and provided the migrants with food and rice bags.
• Throughout the crisis, he responded selflessly, supporting those in need and offering special attention to those afflicted by the lockdown. Face masks, hand sanitizers, and lunches were handed to the least fortunate, as well as cash assistance.
• Even after the second wave of the covid infection, Shravan Kumar continued to put his efforts into helping other individuals.
• The residents of the village, as well as others who were in need, received vegetables and fruits from him. The Covid-19 vaccination and the consequences of the virus were the subjects of awareness campaigns at camps and seminars.
• The region contaminated with the coronavirus has been designated as a red zone, and residents have been informed of the necessary safety measures and precautions to take.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea order to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
