Vunnam Eswar Prasad

 

Vunnam Eswar Prasad was the Ex-TRS Mandal Youth President of Nidamanoor Nalgonda district and JAC Mandal Youth President. He was born on 06-02-1984 to Bikshamaiah and Laxmamma in Nidamanoor.

Education Background:

In 1999, Eswar Prasad completed his schooling at ZP high school, resided at Nidamanoor village. From 1999-2001, He attained ITI in the stream of Diesel Mechanic at Nalgonda. Eswar Prasad earned his Intermediate from VNVS junior college, Nidamanoor from 2001-2003.

Political Life:

Eswar Prasad started his political career with the ABVP. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is a right-wing all-India student organization affiliated with the Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS).

He has been interested in Politics since he was a child. In 2001, during his Intermediate he was elected as College President from ABVP. Being an Activist Eswar used to solve student’s issues such as Fee Reimbursement, college infrastructure, job notifications, etc.

Eswar Prasad joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) with the determination to solve the problems of the people in the year 2003. He has been actively involved in party activities since joining the party and has always carried out his duties.

Chennakesava Youth Club:

Eswar Prasad is a State Player of Kabaddi he has a keen interest in Sports especially in Kabaddi he used to play Kabaddi since his Intermediate.

He founded the “Chennakesava Youth Club” in 2004 and he was the President of it. Chennakesava is Eswar Prasad’s cousin was killed in a bomb blast. In his memory, Eswar Prasad established Chennakesava Youth Club. The club is all about Sports Persons. As an encouragement, every year Prasad provides sports kits, protein food, and whatever they need to the Kabaddi players. Prasad assists everything for the players through the foundation such as providing sports dress, assisting money when any player died in the team, etc.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Eswar Prasad played an active role in the Telangana Movement and participated under the auspicious Constituency Incharge Bollepalli Srinivasa Raju. He took part in Hunger Strike, Dharnas, Rasta Rokos, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies, Protest Programs as a part of the Telangana movement.

In 2009, He becomes JAC Mandal Youth President of Nidamanoor. Eswar Prasad took charge as TRS Mandal Youth President from Nidamanoor. He resigned from the TRS party and joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party in 2014. Within a few days, after he joined the party, The people who liked his work and the way he responded to people’s problems selected him as the Town Youth President.

From 2015-2018, he held the position of Social Media Convenor from Nagarjuna Sagar constituency.

While he was serving as congress leader he held many Hunger Strikes, Dharnas over farmer’s issues under the auspicious of Janareddy.

Eswar’s grandfather Unnam Kotaiah recognized as a freedom fighter has been elected unanimously as Ex-Sarpanch and desperately carried out the duties assigned to him without heeding the trust placed on him for 10 years.

Eswar’s brother Vunnam Vijay Bhaskar was appointed as TRS Party Mandal President.  He has been working tirelessly for the welfare of the people, constantly striving for the development of the party and the society, and was rendering desperate service to the society through the positions he has been appointed to.

Chekuri Hanumantha Rao was Eswar Prasad’s political mentor. “Eswar Prasad has been successful in his political career with the encouragement of Chekuri Hanumantha Rao”. He was the Ex-MPP, Ex-Market Chairman, and Lion’s Club Founder of Nidamanoor Mandal. He served 40 years in the congress party and then joined the TRS party.

Eswar Pradesh re-joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party in 2019 and becomes Senior Leader of TRS.

Nagarjuna Sagar MLA Nomula Bhagath inspected the pond embankment in Vengannagudem village in Nidamanoor zone which was cut off due to unseasonal rains. The MLA immediately spoke to IB officials and informed the authorities to undertake the reconstruction of the pond. Village people, youth leaders Eswar Prasad, Sarpanch Nagraj, Shiva, Ramaiah, and others participated in the program.

Eswar Prasad distributes rice from “Kumara Niwasam” to those who lost their homes due to unseasonal rains.

Social Service:

• Eswar Prasad was also a Social Activist in Nidamanoor village.
• He engaged in programs like Palle Pragati, Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath.
• Organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the people who are in an emergency.
• Supplied vitamin tablets to the village people.
• Eswar conducts awareness programs and tells the villagers how to take care of their health from diseases during the monsoon season.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Aadhar cards.
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationary things to the Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• He provided his financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.
• Distributed food and clothes to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.

Eswar Prasad’s Contribution while Covid First Wave:

• Eswar served even pandemic time. He distributed Covid kits to the village people. Provided essential commodities, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people.
• Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants, arranges buses to go to their villages.
• He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.
• Distributes Rice, Vegetables to the Masks, Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and to the village people.
• Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19. Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.
• He says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.
• When the covid patients were not given food by their family members for fear of going to them, Prasad went to them and gave them food and medicine and told them to be brave.

Eswar Prasad’s Contribution while Covid Second Wave:

• During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.
• He provided food packets, water packets, Masks, Sanitizers in the lockdown time to the poor and the elderly who live near the parks on the road cannot find anything to eat.
• He donates food and clothes to poor and orphaned children during the Second Wave Corona and satisfies the hunger of many orphans.
• Created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
• Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
• Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.
• Conducted Annadhanam Program for migrates which is served and satisfied many hungry people.
• Arranged oxygen cylinders for the covid victims.
