Vemuluri Malakondaiah Achary

Vemuluri Malakondaiah is the Executive Secretary of Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Ashramam Trust of Pullur Kottalu in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION: 

On the 25th of August 1984, Vemuluri Malakondaiah Achary was born to a couple Mr. Vemuluri  Malyadri Achary and Mrs. Vemuluri Varalakshumma. They resided in the village of Pullur Kottalu from Khajipet Mandal at YSR Kadapa in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

He completed his secondary board of education in 1909 at Nagarjuna Public School located at Ongole. He completed his Intermediate Course in 2002 from RESSV Juinor College at Khajipet in Andhra Pradesh.

He finished his Graduation with a B.A from Government Arts College at Kadapa in 2006.

He obtained his M.A from Government College in Kadapa in 2008 and then he finished his B.Ed at Annama College of Education in Podhutoor in 2009.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

Malakondaiah started his professional career at the Sri Balaji Vidyaniketan School as a Telugu Teacher and still,  he was continuing his profession as a private school teacher since 2010.

 CAREER AS A FOUNDER:

On 22 January 2020, Malakondaiah founded the Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Ashramam Trust a non-governmental organization aimed at assisting the homeless, orphans, street children, child laborers, and other children living in society.

Since the organization’s inception, Malakondaiah, in his role as Founder and Executive Secretary and with the support of his Team, has been involved in a wide of social activities by meeting the needs of everyone who has approached him for assistance.

Maladri Achary is the Chairman of Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Ashramam Trust which was founded by Malakondaiah. He was the Chairman from 2020 and still he was in the position to serve the people.

It works with the aim to provide them with a dignified existence and assisting them to become self-sufficient. Since its establishment, the Foundation has provided opportunities for underprivileged children to earn a living and has mentored hundreds of children.

Simultaneously aided the homeless, orphans, street children, child laborers, and youngsters by giving them the support of a strong relationship and organization in order to assist them in growing to a higher level and becoming future.

Activities Performed through Organisation:

•  Malakondaiah established an Organization with the name Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Ashramam Trust which was registered at his native place Pullur Kottalu Village of Andhra Pradesh State.
• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated blood to needy people. He financially assisted the poor people in the village and helped them in all possible ways.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the village’s unhealthy students and needy people.
• Conducted the Annadhanam Program, which served and satisfied many hungry people in his village.
• Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially.  He assisted the uneducated student financially with their education.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, he will be at the forefront of the problem. He will assist those who come to him for help and provide the essential things that they require. 
• He has taken an active interest in environmental protection by participating in the Plantation Program and casting the plants in the hamlet.
• He is a staunch believer that every individual should engage in social work that builds a sense of patriotism in their souls. One should constantly try to influence people around one by emphasizing that one is indebted to society.
• With the sole idea of helping the poor in all possible ways, Malakondaiah built a voluntary organization to serve the people in all ways by leading himself when they were in difficulty, and his pure sense of humor turned him into a great man with humanity.

Pandemic Activities:

• The pandemic had a devastating effect on people’s life. During the Covid crisis, it was challenging for regular people to stay alive.
• Malakondaiah was a responsible leader who maintained to contribute even when the situation was terrible.
• During the Pandemic Period, he handed out fruits, meal packets, and water bottles to the people living by the roadsides. In addition, he provided free blankets to those individuals. He donated monetarily to the cause and provided the migrants with food and rice bags.
• During the Corona crisis, the Annadhanam program was made available to front-line workers, including police officers, municipal employees, and emergency personnel.
• To combat the spread of the pandemic in Corona, he has organized an awareness campaign focusing on the need to keep a safe distance from infected individuals and use appropriate safety precautions.
• He offered sufferers of the covid virus financial assistance and the provision of masks, and sanitizers in Khajipet.
• Even after the second wave of the covid infection, Meeravai continued to put his efforts into helping other individuals.
• The residents of the village, as well as others who were in need, received vegetables and fruits from him. The Covid-19 vaccination and the consequences of the virus were the subjects of awareness campaigns at camps and seminars that were conducted.
• The region contaminated with the coronavirus has been designated as a red zone, and residents have been informed of the necessary safety measures and precautions to take.
