Vemula Prashanth Reddy is a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Balkonda constituency of the Nizamabad district and Minister for Roads & Buildings, Legislative Affairs, and Housing, Telangana.

He was born on 14-03-1966 to V. Surender Reddy in Vailpoor Village, Nizamabad Dist. He attained Graduation B.E. (CIVIL) from Gulbarga University, Karnataka in 1989.

He started his political journey with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) Party. From 2014- 2018, He was served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Balkonda Constituency, Nizamabad Dist.

He was the Vice-Chairman of Telangana Drinking Water Supply Corporation (Mission Bhagiratha) from 2014 to 2018.

In 2018, He was worked as a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Balkonda Constituency, Nizamabad Dist from the TRS Party.

Later in 2019, Vemula Prashanth Reddy elected as Minister of Roads & Buildings Legislative affairs and Housing of the Government of Telangana from the TRS Party.

Recent Activities:

  • He was participating in the concreting and the bhumi puja program of the Kasturba Gandhi Girls School (KGBV) being constructed at a cost of Rs 3.50 crore at the Mupkal Mandal Center in Balkonda constituency.
  • He inaugurated the Ergatla Cluster Farmer’s Platform and Rural Nature Forest, built at a cost of Rs 22 lakh at the Ergatla Mandal Center along with local representatives and officials.
  • The construction of the new Secretariat building will be carried out in accordance with the ideas of KCR Gary to the amazement of the world. The works were inspected abruptly on Saturday along with R&B superiors.

(బడ్జెట్ సమావేశాల) ప్రారంభం సందర్బంగా ఉభయ సభలను ఉద్దేశించి ప్రసంగించడానికి అసెంబ్లీ కి విచ్చేసిన గౌరవనీయురాలు రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్ తమిళ సై సౌందర రాజన్ గారిని గౌరవ ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్ గారితో కలిసి స్వాగతం పలకడం జరిగింది..

రెండు రోజుల పర్యటన నిమిత్తం నిన్న హైదరాబాద్ విచ్చేసి వివిధ కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొని ఈ రోజు బేగంపేట ఎయిర్పోట్ నుండి ఢిల్లీ తిరుగు ప్రయాణం అయిన భారత రాష్ట్రపతి శ్రీ రామ్నాథ్ కొవింద్ గారికి రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్ గారితో కలిసి వీడ్కోలు పలకడం జరిగింది…

గిరిజనుల అతిపెద్ద జాతర మేడారం సమ్మక్క సారలమ్మ లను దర్శించుకొని నిలువెత్తు బంగారం మొక్కు చెల్లించుకోవడం జరిగింది.

అతిపెద్ద గిరిజన మేడారం జాతర సందర్బంగా సమ్మక్క సారక్క ల దర్శనం కోసం అధిక సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉన్నందున భక్తులకు రవాణా పరంగా ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తకుండా క్షేత్ర స్థాయిలో రోడ్ల పనుల పరిశీలన మరియు ఇంకా కొనసాగుతున్న పనులకు మేడారం జాతరకు వచ్చే భక్తులకు ఇబ్బంది కలగకుండా పూర్తి చేయడానికి పలు సూచనలు చేయడం జరిగింది..

అమెరికన్ తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్(ఆటా) వారు రవీంద్రభారతిలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యమానికి ముఖ్య అతిధిగా రాష్ట్ర రోడ్లు,భవనాలు,శాసనసభ వ్యవహారాలు మరియు గృహ నిర్మాణ శాఖ మంత్రి గా హాజరవ్వడం జరిగింది.
