Early Life and Family Background:

Vemula Bhaskar, a dynamic political leader, was born on July 18, 1991, to Tirupathaiah and Yadamma in the dramatic town of Mahabubnagar. His upbringing in a nurturing environment laid the foundation for his unwavering commitment to public service.

Educational Journey:

Bhaskar’s academic journey reflects his dedication to knowledge and learning. In 2007, he completed his SSC from T.S.M.H.S. in Palem Village, showcasing early signs of academic excellence. Continuing his educational pursuits, he completed his Intermediate in 2009 at the esteemed Govt Junior College, Thimmajipet. Bhaskar’s quest for knowledge culminated in 2012 when he earned his degree from Dr. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao Government Degree College, Jadcherla, illustrating his commitment to academic achievement.

Community Roots and Values:

Embedded in the rich cultural fabric of Mahabubnagar, Vemula Bhaskar’s journey is deeply intertwined with the values instilled by his family and community. His upbringing played a crucial role in shaping him into a leader who understands the pulse of the people and carries the responsibility of representing their aspirations on the political stage. From an early age, Bhaskar was taught the importance of community service, leadership, and standing up for the rights of others, lessons that have defined his approach to politics.

In 2009, Vemula Bhaskar embarked on his political journey with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a student organization known for its commitment to the welfare of students and nationalist values. Bhaskar’s leadership qualities were soon recognized, and he was selected as the Mandal Convenor of Thimmajipet. In this role, he organized a Nirahara Diksha (hunger strike) to demand the establishment of an examination centre in Thimmajipet, showing his early commitment to addressing student issues. Bhaskar consistently fought for the rights of students, ensuring that their voices were heard on matters of education and welfare.

That same year, Bhaskar became an active participant in the Telangana Movement, which sought to create a separate Telangana state. He joined forces with other activists and students to demand statehood for Telangana. He also participated in the Sushma Swaraj Bahiranga Sabha, a public meeting addressed by Sushma Swaraj, showing his dedication to the cause. Throughout the movement, Bhaskar took part in various programs, collaborating with Osmania University students to organize protests and events that furthered the call for Telangana’s statehood.

In 2011, Bhaskar’s dedication to student welfare earned him the position of Jadcherla City Executive Member for ABVP. In this capacity, he continued to advocate for students by addressing key issues such as college reforms, improving hostel conditions, resolving college-related problems, and securing better infrastructure, including new buses and classrooms. His efforts were instrumental in creating a more favorable environment for students in the region.

Also in 2011, Bhaskar joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi (TRSV), the student wing of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). His activism within the TRSV saw him participate in the National High Block Program, a significant event during the Telangana Movement. Bhaskar also led a Shava Yatra (symbolic funeral procession) to protest against the stance of Lagadapati Rajagopal, a prominent opponent of Telangana’s statehood. Bhaskar was at the forefront of the “Andhra Lecturers Vaddhu” movement, which opposed the appointment of lecturers from Andhra Pradesh in Telangana colleges, advocating for local employment.

In addition to his student activism, Bhaskar joined the Telangana Private Employment Association in 2011, where he became a strong advocate for the rights of private sector workers. He fought for Employee State Insurance (ESI) and Provident Fund (PF) benefits for private company workers, pushing for better working conditions and job security. Bhaskar also campaigned for 80% of jobs in private companies to be reserved for local employees, ensuring that employment opportunities benefited the surrounding communities. His efforts were recognized, and he was appointed as Mahabubnagar District Organizer Secretary for the Private Employment Association.

By 2013, Bhaskar’s leadership expanded further when he was selected as Telangana State Private Employment Association In-Charge for Nakrekal, Wanaparthy, and Gadwal. In this role, he organized job fairs (Job Melas) across the state, providing employment opportunities to thousands of job seekers. He also conducted skill development and technology development programs, helping individuals enhance their employability in an increasingly competitive job market. His initiatives contributed significantly to the socio-economic upliftment of the youth and unemployed in Telangana.

In addition to these responsibilities, Vemula Bhaskar holds prominent positions within the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Party, reflecting his rising stature in state politics. He currently serves as the BRS Party State Youth Wing Secretary, where he plays a crucial role in mobilizing youth support and developing strategies that align with the party’s goals. His leadership extends further as an Executive Committee Member of the BRS Party BC Cell, where he advocates for the rights and welfare of backward classes, ensuring that their concerns are addressed within the political framework.

1. Distribution of Food to Migrants:

In the wake of the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Vemula Bhaskar demonstrated exemplary leadership by spearheading initiatives to provide essential sustenance to migrant workers. Understanding the plight of those most affected, Bhaskar organized and executed the distribution of food, ensuring that migrants facing hardships had access to nourishing meals during these trying times.

2. Distribution of Food to Orphan Homes:

Recognizing the vulnerability of orphanages and the unique challenges they faced during the pandemic, Bhaskar extended his compassion by organizing food distribution to orphan homes. His efforts aimed to alleviate the difficulties faced by these institutions, ensuring that the children under their care continued to receive nutritious meals despite the disruptions caused by the health crisis.

3. Provision of Rice, Masks, Sanitizers, and Essential Items:

In a comprehensive approach to pandemic relief, Vemula Bhaskar went beyond basic food distribution. He actively contributed to the community’s safety by providing essential items such as rice, masks, and sanitizers.
