As I stand before you, deeply rooted in the rich cultural soil of my beloved village Boyagudem, I am reminded of the journey that has brought me to this pivotal moment. Born on the 18th of April, 1987, I have traversed through the corridors of education, service, and dedication, each step shaping my resolve to serve my community with unwavering commitment. My name is Vempa Durga Rao, and I am privileged to present myself as an Indian Social Activist and an aspirant for the esteemed position of Independent MLA in the forthcoming 2024 general elections, representing the esteemed Chintalapudi Assembly Constituency. Yet, it was not merely academic accolades that stirred my soul; it was the call to service, the fervent desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of those around me, that propelled me into the realm of politics.

Early Life and Background:

On the 18th of April, 1987, in the quaint village of Boyagudem in Chintalapudi Mandal, Eluru District, Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Vempa Durga Rao came into the world. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Vempa Kumari, his roots are deeply embedded in the rich cultural soil of his native land.

Educational Journey:

His academic journey commenced at APRS School, Appalarajugudem, where he completed his SSC Standard in 2002. Moving forward, he pursued his Intermediate education at Chaitanya Bharati Junior College, Chintalapudi, graduating in 2004. 

Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Mr. Durga Rao earned his degree in MPC’s from KLR Degree College, Palvancha, Khammam, in 2007. Further enhancing his academic credentials, he successfully completed his MCA from Dr. SCN PG College, Bhimavaram, in 2010.

Mr. Vempa Durga Rao’s journey into the political arena is a proof to his commitment to public service. Inspired by a vision for positive change, he seeks to contribute to the betterment of society through his political endeavours.

Early Beginnings and Commitment to Public Service (2018)

Durga Rao, a dedicated and dynamic leader, has held various crucial positions within the YSRCP from 2018 to 2023. His journey began as an MLA Personal Assistant, where he played a pivotal role in supporting the legislative activities. 

In 2018, Durga Rao embarked on his professional journey as a Personal Assistant to the Chintalapudi MLA, motivated by a deep-seated desire to contribute to the well-being of the people. His role aimed to convey his thoughts indirectly to the public by standing beside the MLA and actively participating in political service.

Commitment as a Personal Assistant

In his capacity as a Personal Assistant, Durga Rao demonstrated tireless dedication. He actively organised meetings and coordinated various activities within the constituency, showcasing his commitment to effective political service.

Stepping into Leadership as  a Program Coordinator

Recognising his commitment and organisational skills, Durga Rao was entrusted with the responsibility of Program Coordinator. In this role, he efficiently coordinated and executed various initiatives, contributing significantly to the party’s success.

Leading from the Front as a Call Center Manager

Durga Rao’s leadership abilities further shone as he took on the role of Call Center Manager for the YSRCP. Managing the communication hub of the party, he ensured effective connectivity and outreach, fostering a stronger bond between the party and the public.

Initiatives for Employment and Issue Resolution

Durga Rao’s commitment extended beyond conventional duties. He organised Job Melas for unemployed graduates, providing them with opportunities for gainful employment. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in resolving local issues, offering convincing judgments during conflicts and facilitating the clearance of development hurdles.

Transition to Political Authority

Driven by a genuine passion for serving the people, Durga Rao made the significant decision to transition from an underground role to a more prominent political authority. His aim was to enhance the willingness of the constituency’s residents and effectively address arising issues.

Focus on Student Employment

Durga Rao’s commitment to development is evident in his focus on creating employment opportunities for students. Understanding the importance of nurturing the future generation, he supported initiatives that aimed at empowering students through meaningful employment.

Combatting Crisis: Full-Service during the Pandemic

In the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Durga Rao stood out by providing full-fledged services in the Chintalapudi constituency. His proactive approach and dedicated efforts were crucial in mitigating the impact of the pandemic, showcasing his leadership under pressure.

Through strategic roles like MLA Personal Assistant, Program Coordinator, and Call Center Manager, I’ve aimed to contribute to the party’s growth and address the needs of the people. As we navigate development and crisis, my commitment remains unwavering.”

In a bold move, Durga Rao has decided to take a step forward in his political journey. He aspires to contest as an Independent candidate for the MLA seat in the Chintalapudi Constituency during the upcoming 2024 general elections.

His Manifesto 2024 serves as a comprehensive blueprint for positive change, encompassing infrastructural development and social welfare initiatives. Durga Raju envisions the elections as the commencement of his journey towards becoming a true public leader, advocating for open and accountable governance that actively involves the community in decision-making processes. BUILDING A PROGRESSIVE COMMUNITY: “OUR TOWN OUR PROGRESS”

1. Central Lighting and Bus Depot at Chintalapudi:

Durga Raju’s vision is the construction of a Central Lighting and Bus Depot in Chintalapudi. This ambitious initiative aims to improve connectivity and transportation within the town, fostering economic growth and community development.

2. Enhancing Facilities in Outlying Areas:

Recognising the importance of inclusive development, the Durga Raju manifesto includes provisions for central lighting, bus shelters, public toilets, and access to clean drinking water in key outlying areas such as Lingapalem, Dharmajgudem, Kamavarapukota, and Jangareddygudem. This holistic approach ensures that progress extends to every corner of the constituency.

3. Establishing Water Purification Plants in Every Panchayat:

Aiming to address the essential need for clean water, Durga Raju proposes the establishment of Purified Water Plants in every Panchayat within the constituency. This initiative reflects a commitment to ensuring a sustainable and healthy environment for all residents.

4. Roads, Culverts, and a 100-Bedded Hospital:

Durga Raju’s manifesto places a strong emphasis on comprehensive infrastructure development. This includes the construction of well-maintained roads and culverts, fostering smoother transportation. 1. Life and Accident Insurance for Constituency Workers

In his pursuit of public leadership, Durga Raju, an independent candidate in the Chintalapudi Constituency elections, envisions a comprehensive approach to support the workers of the constituency. One of the cornerstones of his manifesto is the commitment to arrange life and accident insurance for the hardworking individuals who form the backbone of the local community. This initiative reflects Durga Raju’s dedication to ensuring the well-being and financial security of the constituency’s workforce.

2. Establishment of a Special Fund for Workers

Durga Raju recognises the importance of a secure and stable financial foundation for the workers of Chintalapudi. 1. Board and Electricity Services for Farmers:

Durga Raju’s foremost commitment lies in providing essential infrastructure to farmers. He proposes the establishment of a dedicated board to oversee and enhance electricity services for farmers through collaboration with the corporation. This initiative aims to alleviate the challenges faced by farmers, ensuring a consistent and reliable power supply for their agricultural needs.

2. Cold Storage Facilities in Every Mandal:

Recognising the significance of post-harvest management, Durga Raju advocates for the establishment of cold storage facilities in each mandal of the Chintalapudi Constituency. This strategic move aims to curb post-harvest losses, ensuring farmers can store their produce effectively and access markets optimally, contributing to economic sustainability.

3. Awareness Seminars and Access to Resources:

Durga Rao’s Service During the COVID-19 Pandemic:

• As the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the nation, Durga Rao emerged as a beacon of hope, demonstrating exceptional leadership during these unprecedented times.
• Durga Rao ensured the place of makeshift medical facilities and the distribution of essential medical supplies, including masks and sanitisers
• Understanding the importance of disseminating accurate information, Durga Rao launched public awareness campaigns, leveraging various mediums to educate the community about COVID-19 safety protocols.
• In response to the adverse impact of the lockdown, Durga Rao showed exemplary compassion by distributing vegetables and fruits to villagers, destitute individuals, and Municipality personnel, adhering meticulously to safety precautions
• Throughout the global lockdown, Durga Rao played a pivotal role in assisting individuals by providing meals ensuring strict adherence to precautionary measures to safeguard the health of the recipients.
• In a dedicated effort to protect the villagers, a comprehensive measure was taken as sodium hypochlorite solution was systematically sprayed throughout the village. This initiative was part of a concerted effort to eliminate the risk of coronavirus infection and prioritise the local community’s well-being.
