Veluru Uma Mahesh was the Incharge of the 46th Ward of Achari Veedhi Village. He was born on 06-06-1971 to Mastanaiah and Nagaratnamma in Kotamita Village.
He has completed SSC from VR high school, in Nellore in 1986. He joined the ABVP in 1986.
He started his political journey with the Congress party in 1990. He elected as District Youth Secretary from Congress in 1996. He selected as BC Cell General Secretary in 2000.
From 2002-2013, he worked as a Board Member of Dharamaraja Swamy temple. From 2010-2017, he has been working as a President of the Vikrama Simhapuri Ganesh Ceremony Committee from Nellore District.
In 2013, He joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP). In 2014 His wife Sudharani selected as a Corporator of 46th Ward from Achari Veedhi Village.
He selected as Nellore Parlamentory Convenor to the Agrigold Basata Committee. He selected as in Incharge of 46th Ward from Achari Veedhi Village in 2019.
Social Activities:
- Uma Mahesh has done so many Social Activities. He distributed Blankets, Fruits to the old aged people, donated dresses, food, to the orphans. He laid CC roads, put Street Lights, fought for village problems.
- Participated in Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharath programs.
