Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar is a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Visakhapatnam South Constituency from the TDP. He was born in 1965 to Ramana(Late).

He has completed B.E.(E.C.E.) from GITAM College, Andhra University, in 1988 and he completed IIFT (E.M.M.) from Annamalai University, in 1994.  He worked as Flight Lieutenant, Indian Airforce.

He started his political journey with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). He was the District President of Vishakapatnam South Constituency from the TDP party. He worked as a District President, Visakhapatnam, TDP.

In 2014, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Vishakapatnam South Constituency from the TDP party. He is the Director of Vizag Defense Academy.

In 2019, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Vishakapatnam South Constituency from the TDP party with the highest majority of 52,172 votes. He Left the TDP(Telugu Desam Party).

Recent Activities:

  • Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar, MLA, Visakhapatnam South constituency, selected poor artists and distributed daily necessities on the occasion of World Theater Day in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 21-day lock-down with the main objective of protecting the people from contracting a deadly disease like a corona.
  •  Ganesh Kumar Garu participated in the charity event
  • Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar, an MLA, set up the Anna Canteen and provided dining facilities for only Rs 5/-
