Vasagiri Manikanta is an Indian Politician and current Anantapur District Secretary from the Janasena political Party from the respective state of Andhra Pradesh.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION–
Manikanta was born in the village of Guntakal in Anantapur District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh on the 12th of February 1985 to the couple Mr. Late Vasagiri VV Prasad and Mrs. Vasagiri Vasantha.
Manikanta acquired his Secondary Board of Education in 2001 from Zilla Parishad High School located at Anantapur of Andhra Pradesh.
He acquired his undergraduate from Government Junior College from Guntakal and accomplished it in the year 2003. Later, he holds graduation with a degree from SSBN Degree College at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh and finished it in the year 2007.
In the year 2011, he holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from SK University at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. Manikanta is a student of NCC (National Cadet Corps) & National Service Scheme (NSS).
EARLY CAREER IN PROFESSION-
Following the conclusion of his qualifications, Manikanta began his professional career by setting up his own business (Vasu Wood Planning & Interior Building Works) and continuing his occupational work by fulfilling his family responsibilities.
EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS–
He has been interested in politics since a young age, and his passion has led him to become a politician who expects people to succeed as a consequence of his services.
In the year 2014 Manikanta commenced his political party by joining the Janasena Party which was founded by Tollywood actor and politician Pawan Kalyan.
He exposed his leadership skills by serving as the Party Activist and working comprehensively all the time for the welfare of humankind. As being a part of Janasena, Manikanta expressed a keen interest and performs every activity for the recognition of the respective party.
Manikanta was designated as the President Team Member of Guntakal from Janasena in 2019 to serve the people in all ways by working comprehensively all the time for the welfare of humankind by citing code of conduct and disciplinary issues.
To further enhance his responsibilities so that she could stay closer to the people and monitor their well-being every moment, in the year 2021 he was appointed as the District Secretary of Janasena from Anantapur, of Andhra Pradesh.
After receiving the authority and performing every activity as his responsibility for the welfare of the people, and continues his service, thinking for the welfare of the people for the moment and dealing with the activities for the development of the Society.
Manikanta is a dedicated follower of the Mega Family and under the auspiciousness of the Mega family, he contributed several activities.
Blood Donation Camp–
Manikanta conducted a Blood Donation Camp in the region of Anantapur and donated blood nearly 35 times to the extreme people.
This has started by the Youth Members, with the thought of no INDIAN should die with lack of blood and by implementing into reality started a group with countable members and started donating all the blood- Normal groups, Negative Groups, Rare Groups across INDIA with the help of donors.
Protests & Rallies–
- Manikanta fought over every issue regarding land issues and in other cases. He solved many occupied land issues of the Anantapur highway people.
- He held many Dharnas for the termination of the Land and Illegal issues that affect the humor of the people as well as the society.
- Manikanta had lobbied for the construction of a railway zone in the Anantapur district’s Guntakal hamlet.
- He agitated for the erection of a steel plant in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh state.
- During the partition of the state, the YSRCP government organized a bike rally with the MPs and MLAs demanding the ‘special status’ promised to the state.
- He said the government should take the initiation of the attacks on Hindu temples in the state and in the movement against the demolition of Hindu temples and an open letter has been written to the Andhra Pradesh government condemning the attack on temples.
Welfare & Social Activities-
- He fought with Government to provide jobs to jobless workers and to permanently eliminate unemployment in the nation.
- At the time of the floods, Obaiah had contributed funds to the affected families and provided essential requirements.
- Manikanta has helped the village by supplying food to the elderly and orphaned children, as well as mineral water to the residents.
- He fights for the people’s concerns, their welfare, and their rights. Many of the colony’s development initiatives were a huge success.
Party Activities-
- During Elections, he actively participates in the Door-to-Door election campaign and worked hard to win the party in his locality.
- Manikanta was extensively engrossed in many social service activities and worked hard to bring numerous state and central government schemes to the public’s attention and support them in receiving benefits, as well as maintain strong and cordial relationships with individuals from all walks of humanity and leadership.
- He conveyed that the development of party ideologies relies on unemployment and not between religions and castes and he was attracted to the ideologies of the party and works for the party.
Services Rendered in Pandemic COVID-19-
- Manikanta came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
- During a dreadful pandemic, Manikanta acted as an Incharge from Chiranjeevi Oxygen Blood Bank at Guntakal in Anantapur.
- Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed in the Rapthadu highway and for those whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
- Manikanta came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
- He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
- To spread awareness about social distancing and follow precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic of Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
- As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
- Manikanta also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
- He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
- He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
