Varnam Rohith Reddy

 

Varnam Rohith Reddy is the President of Friends Youth Organization. He was born on 20-07-1992 to Bal Reddy and Hymavathi in Warangal.

Education Background

In 2008, Rohith completed the SSC standard at Shanthinikethan Gurukul Vidhyalayam, Bontala Koduru, and in 2010, he completed Intermediate from Siddharth junior college, Bhupalpally. In 2013, Rohith graduated with a Degree from Siddharth degree college, Bhupalpally. Rohith attained his Master’s(MBA) from Pragathi School of Management.

Career as President of Youth

Rohit has a keen interest in Social Service since his childhood. From 2012-2018, Rohith selected and worked as Youth President of Moranchapally village and has done many Social Service through Vivekananda Youth Service.

In 2019, Rohith Reddy established Friends Youth Organization with the intention that “Helping Hands are Better than Praying Lips”. His dedication, hard work promoted him as President of Friends Youth Organization.

 

Service Through Friends Youth Organization

• Friends Youth Organization members have submitted a petition to Bhupalpally RDO and Bhupalpally CI on issues like speed breakers, CCTV cameras, Drunk and Drive Test, etc.
• Under the auspices of Friends Youth, Rohit organized awareness programs and informs the villagers about the ban on plastics and the harm caused to the environment by plastics.
• Whoever dies in the family of a member of the organization, the members of the organization provides financial assistance to their family.
• They had been conducted blood donation camps, eye camps in the village every year.
• Rohit raised awareness among the people on the prohibition of alcohol and gave a warning not to sell liquor in the villages.
• Rohit did a Dharna demanded compensation for flood-damaged crops.
• When the bridge in the village collapsed and disrupted vehicular traffic. Rohit responded to the issue and petitioned the MLA to build a new bridge.
• Manikantha Reddy, a member of Moranchapally Youth, recently passed away. Friends Youth Organization members wish Manikanta Reddy peace of mind.
• Rohit Reddy laid a wreath at the Telangana Martyrs’ Monument.
• A candlelight rally was held in Moranchapally village on behalf of Friends Youth on the rape of Priyanka Reddy.
• Rohit organizes the Batukamma festival every year and makes all the arrangements.
• Young people are reminded of those who have fun playing games and chatting on the phone. In contrast, the youth from Bhupalpally Mandal and Moranchapally have formed Friends Youth to create awareness on the ban on gudumba and the ban on plastics and are ideal for the youth in solving every problem in the village.

Social Service

• Rohit has been donating dresses, blankets to the Orphanage, and to the old age people every year.
• He took part in a program to distribute plants house-to-house for environmental protection as part of the greening program.
• As a part of environmental protection Rohit distributed Garbage baskets to the villagers.
• Rohit did a dharna to give fee reimbursement to students in a timely manner.
• He plays a leading role in making the Kalyana Lakshmi, CM Relief Fund money reach the poor people.
• He has been celebrating freedom fighter’s birth and death anniversaries and paid tributes to them.

Service During Pandemic Covid-19

• Rohit provided his service during Pandemic time also, he distributes Covid kits to the village people.
• He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.
• Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants, arranges buses to go to their villages.
• He provided essential commodities, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people.
• Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19.
• Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.
• Distributes Rice, Vegetables to the Masks, Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and to the village people.
• Rohit says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.
