Nursing is a profession, not merely a collection of specialised talents. Nursing is a great combination of today’s health-care sector with the traditions of the past. It is a wonderful vocation that provides mankind with the greatest benefit. It is centred on providing treatment to each individual patient in order to help them maintain and improve their health and quality of life.
Nursing is a career that requires a strong dedication from nurses. Nurses, with their nursing training and duties, play a critical role in creating the organisation a welcoming environment for patients. Despite the fact that the nursing profession has improved significantly over the last year, nurses are still not as well-recognized as physicians, and they continue to work for poor wages.
Every year on the 12th of May (the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth), International Nurses Day (IND) is marked across the globe to honour the contributions that nurses contribute to society.
In 2014, Venkatesh joined the Nursing Association and was involved in several protests, marches, and dharnas in response to cases of justice being meted out to Nurses.
Based on that perspective, He establishes a not-for-profit in the year 2015 and calls it the Telangana Nurse’s Samithi.
Since the organization’s inception, Mr. Venkatesh, in his role as Founder & President and with the support of his Team, has been involved in a wide of social activities by meeting the needs of everyone who has approached him for assistance.
