Vangapalli Anjaiah

Vangapalli Anjaiah is the Social Activist and IVF Telangana State Dharmika Committee Chairman at Yadadri Bhuvanagiri in Telangana.

Early Life and Education:

On the 12th of October 1965, Vangapalli Anjaiah was born to the couple of Mr. and Mrs. Vangapalli Pedda Pandaiah and raised at Kacharam Village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District in the Indian State of Telangana.

Vangapalli Anjaiah studied his SSC Standard from Zilla Parishad High School at Rangnathpuram in  Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District in 1978 and acquired his Intermediate with C.E.C from Government Junior College at Bhongir in 1980.

Career as Priest: 

Bhakti is the beginning of spiritual life and continues to be a priest. Vangapalli Anjaiah started his Career as a Priest in 1998 and started performing his responsibilities as basic work to proclaim the word of God.

• He performs daily pujas for the veneration of the deity, as well as for bestowing the deity’s blessings upon the gathered devotees, where he prominently presents arti that is ritually circled, facing the murti. 
• After performing the puja by chanting the sacred mantrams, ringing the prayer bell, and sometimes by reciting the sthala Purana, as a pujari, he blesses the devotees by offering them prasadam, charanamritam or tirtha. 

In 2018, the IVF appointed Anjaiah as the Spiritual State Chairman to execute his responsibilities under his position. 

His devotion increased by accepting and being served as the Trustee of the goddess Yellamma Temple in his locality.

Chairman of Telangana State Dharmika Committee

Vangapalli Anjaiah holds the esteemed position of Chairman of the Telangana State Dharmika Committee. In this role, he oversees and guides the committee’s efforts to uphold and promote religious and cultural values across the state. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering unity and ensuring that traditional practices are preserved and respected within the community.

Temple Developments:

• As a part of Village development,  In 1996, Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari Temple was built on his own farm at Kacharam village at his own expense in Kalasapuram. 
• As a part of his responsibility, Organized Srinivasa Kalyanam with his personal expenditures and own interest at Immadi function hall in Alair with 1000 devotees and made the successful event.                           

Activities as a Priest in Temple:

• Since 1993, Shiva Parvathi Kalyanam has been organizing, receiving, and creating positive energy in the surroundings.
• In addition to this, Sri Sri Renuka Jaya Dagni Kalyanam, Shiva Poojas, and Shiva Rathri Poojas are being performed every year by devoting themselves to the Lord and conducting routine puja rituals.
• In 2016, at Siddipet District Gajwel Prajnapur Swayambhu Pardeeswar Swamy conducted grand pujas for 400 to 500 families at his own expense.
• Since 2003 Mallanna and Yellamma kalyanam is being performed in Sri Komuravelli Mallikarjuna Swamy temple for the last 20 years.
• Since 2019, for the last four years, Puste and Mettelu have been given to poor girl children by about eleven families.

Activities Involved to Save Environment:

• Since 2017, Clay Ganesh idols have been given every year for environmental protection in Yadagiri Gutta, Alair, Rajapet, and many other mandals.
• Mr. Anjaiah is performing Shivakoti, Rudra Homams, and Navagraha Chandi Homams at his own expense for the Loka Kalyanam. These pujas are done to develop devotional feelings among the people.

Pandemic Services: 

• In 2020, during the difficult time of Corona, food donation was done in Cacharam, Usojigudem, Alagudem, Aleru, Turpugudem, and Sarajipet villages. Essential commodities such as fruits, bread, and vegetables were distributed. Masks and sanitizers were distributed.
• During Corona’s first and second waves, he offered financial and humanitarian assistance to people affected by the lockdown. During the crisis, individuals reacted with compassion, helping those in need and providing further aid to those whom the lockdown had harmed.
• He has been delivering necessities to help communities with a lack of access to water because of the social distance the Covid-19 restrictions have created.
• Anjaiah snuck up on those impacted by the lockdown by delivering fruits and vegetables to communities, the homeless, and Municipality workers while adhering to the established processes.
• To guarantee that no adverse effects were exposed to the inhabitants, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole hamlet once the coronavirus was successfully eradicated.
• In response to Prime Minister Modi’s request to raise public awareness of the need to receive free corona immunization, the Covid Immunization Drive was set up.
