Vangala Venkata Rama Reddy is the District Committee Member, Medak from the Congress party.
He was born on 15-12-1970 to Narsimhareddy and Janamma in Medak. In 1987, He completed his schooling at ZP high school, Rangampet. He attained Intermediate at Govt junior college, Medak. Venkata Rama Reddy completed his Graduation with a Degree from Tara degree college, Sangareddy.
In 1992, Venkata Rama Reddy started his political journey with the RSS and ABVP and selected as Medak Bag Pravok from the ABVP. He worked as BJYM Mandal President, Kulcharam in 1996.
Venkata Rama Reddy joined the Bharatiya Janta Party(BJP) and elected as Mandal President, Kulcharam from the BJP in 1998. He served as District Secretary of BJYM, Medak in 2000.
In 2001, Venkata Rama Reddy joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party under the auspicious of MLA Anthi Reddy Vittal Reddy. In 2004, He elected as Ward Member as well as Vice President from the Congress party.
Venkata Rama Reddy also held Mandal, District level positions. At present he serving as District Committee Member, Medak from the Congress party.
He conducted many party meetings, worked hard for the party. Participated in Election Campaigns, Bike Rallies.
Recent Activities
- He has done a lot of service in his political career. He solved many problems such as he built School buildings, provided Water Tanks, fought on student’s issues like college infrastructure, student scholarships, Hostel facilities.
- Venkata Rama Reddy also took part in Dharanas, Rasta Rocos on current issues.
- He has done Community Development activities.
- He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the basic essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during the financial crisis.
- Every year during national festivals like Republic Day and Independence day, Reddy conducts and attends the programs in the schools and distributed prizes to the students who actively participated and won in the sports.
- Every year he Distributed books, pens, and clothes to poor children for their higher education and also helped them financially for their bright future.
- He extended his services by assisting poor people who are deeply affected by the assassination of their families by donating a certain amount for their well-being.
- Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially.
Pandemic Services:
- Reddy came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
- Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
- Reddy came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
- He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
- To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
- As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
- He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
- He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
