Vangala Venkata Konda Reddy

Vangala Venkata Konda Reddy is an Indian Social Activist and Convener of the Dheena Bandav Foundation in Nakkalapalli at  Simhadripuram from the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Childhood and Education:

On the 10th of August 1957, Vangala Venkata Konda Reddy was born and raised by the couple Mr. and Mrs.Vangala Alivelamma in Nakkalapalli Village in YSR District from the Indian State of  Andhra Pradesh.

In 1972, Vangala Venkata Konda Reddy acquired his Secondary School Certificate from Zilla Parishad High School in Pulivendla. He completed his intermediate course at Government Junior College at Pulivendla in 1975.

A career in Army:

Venkata Konda Reddy started his career in the Army. In 1979, he served as an Indian soldier for our country. He is a soldier or a member of the military. On the other hand, he gained control of his family. 

Career as a Farmer:

In 1982 Venkata Konda Reddy obtained his career as a farmer. He will do agriculture as a farmer at the same time, handling the family responsibilities.

Social Activist:

 Venkata Konda Reddy began his professional life as a social activist in the medical sector in 1982. He continued to serve the people as a social activist by providing services to society.

Role as a Teacher:

Venkata Konda Reddy started his training for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class students as a Story Writer. He will teach the student how to narrate the stories.

Engagement in Foundation:

Vangala Venkata Konda Reddy is a person who works to achieve social change, especially as a member of an organization with particular aims. He worked as a Convener at Dheena Bandav Foundation. With a deep sense of civic responsibility and a firm dedication to the welfare of the community, Ashok Reddy has been actively working to promote the values of social justice, equality, and fairness. 

Through his foundation, he has been able to provide a platform for individuals and groups to voice their concerns, and he has worked tirelessly to address these issues by engaging with the appropriate authorities and advocating for meaningful change.

As a Social Activist,  Konda Reddy has dedicated his life to serving the people and empowering communities, and his work stands as a testament to the power of grassroots movements in shaping the political and social landscape.

Social Activities:

• Venkata Konda Reddy consistently advocates against corruption, firmly believing that earning money through corrupt means is a disgrace to our nation and akin to worthless scrap paper. Furthermore, he contends that individuals who engage in such reprehensible practices do not deserve societal respect.
• In the event of any disputes concerning land ownership among village residents,  Venkata Konda Reddy assumed a mediating role and tenaciously pursued resolution to ensure that rightful landowners received their respective properties.
• He demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of students by facilitating the provision of all necessary amenities in hostels without any restrictions or biases toward a single student. Additionally,  Venkata Konda Reddy urged hostel administrators to prioritize the provision of quality food and overall better facilities for their students.
• In a laudable effort to address the healthcare needs of the village community, he organized blood donation and medical camps, providing free medications and treatments to those in need. 
• Further, he extended his philanthropic efforts by coordinating eye camps for elderly citizens living in remote areas without hospital access, providing them with much-needed medical care.
• He demonstrated his commitment to humanitarianism by donating wheelchairs at no cost to individuals born with disabilities or who experienced the accidental loss of limbs. 
• A comprehensive approach towards the welfare of the poor and underprivileged has been a significant aspect of Konda Reddy’s political agenda. Through a range of social services, such as supporting orphaned children with access to education, he has ensured that every individual has an equal opportunity to thrive in life.
• Moreover, Konda Reddy recognizes the gravity of the situation for those who have lost their loved ones due to political violence. He has stepped up to provide financial assistance and support to these families in their hour of need. By doing so, he has not only alleviated their suffering but has also given them hope for a better future.
• In addition to this, Konda Reddy has been actively involved in community service by providing basic necessities like food and water to the marginalized population. By catering to the needs of the elderly and orphaned children, he has displayed a humanitarian approach to politics, emphasizing the importance of empathy and care towards every individual in society.

Services Rendered through Pandemic:

• He provided underprivileged people with masks, sanitizers, meals, and financial aid.
•  To ensure the general public’s safety, a solution of sodium hypochlorite was sprayed throughout the village to eliminate the outbreak of the Coronavirus.  Venkata Konda Reddy took it upon himself to assist those affected by the lockdown by distributing vegetables and fruits to villagers, the needy, and Municipality personnel while taking appropriate precautions. 
• A demonstration was organized to raise awareness about the importance of social distancing and the need to adopt prudent measures to prevent the spread of the Corona Epidemic. 
• During the global lockdown,  Venkata Konda Reddy supported people by providing meals while adhering to specific preventive measures. 
• To safeguard the villagers, a sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed throughout the village to eliminate the Corona infection.
• Once the coronavirus outbreak had been eradicated, measures were taken to ensure that the community remained safe from any negative consequences of the virus. This included the spraying of a sodium hypochlorite solution throughout the hamlet, which helped to eliminate any potential traces of the virus and safeguard the health and wellbeing of the people.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was launched by Konda Reddy in response to the call made by Prime Minister Modi to raise public awareness about the importance of obtaining a free corona immunisation. This initiative was aimed at promoting vaccination as an effective means of preventing the spread of the virus and protecting the wider community from potential harm.
• During the pandemic, a door-to-door survey was conducted as part of an effort to raise awareness about the virus and provide guidance on the measures that could be taken to mitigate its impact. This approach allowed for targeted outreach to members of the community who may have been particularly vulnerable or in need of support, demonstrating a commitment to public health and community welfare.
