Vakiti Chinna Bojanna

Vakiti Chinna Bojanna is the Village President of Kaligote, Jakranpalle Mandal, and PACS Director. He was a dedicated leader of the TRS party. When it comes to righteousness, Bojanna feels that it should arise out of honesty, but he doesn’t desire a life of deception.

Born and Education:

He was born on 14-08-1977 to the couple Rajanna and Raju in Kaligote. In 1993, Chinna Bojanna completed his schooling at ZPHS, Kaligote.

Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family. He went to gulf countries for two years.

A career in Politics:

Chinna Bojanna entered into Active Politics with the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) and worked for the party development. He was essential in establishing the TRS party’s leadership at the Mandal level.

In 2019, He took over as PACS Director and duly discharged his responsibility with the blessings of the people. His humble service captivated the minds of the people, hoping that they would connect with him.

The people of Kaligote elected Vijay as Village President in recognition of his service to the villagers since his introduction into politics, with the expectation that he would continue to serve the villagers in the future. On the occasion of his election as village president, Bojanna said that working under MLA Bajireddy Govardhan’s leadership will boost the TRS party even more. He thanked Bajireddy Govardhan, MP Dikonda Haritha Srinivas, and ZPTC Tanuja Srinivas Reddy in particular.

During his tenure as Village President, he grew more involved in politics and has consistently worked for the benefit of the people.

Bojanna became Social Media Rural Member and currently serving in the position. He is always conscious of societal inequalities and keeps up with current events on social media.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

In 2002, Chinna Bojanna played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement and took part in Hunger Strikes, Rally, Protest Programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies.

TRS Party Activities:

-He supported Transport Minister Shanigaram Santhosh Reddy in his MLA term. When Bojireddy Govardhan Reddy, the current RTC chairman, contested as an MLA in 2014 and 2019, Bojanna rendered his services for his victory.

-He has always been a fighter on farmer’s issues. During the Congress reign, Chinna Bojanna made certain that the farmers in the community did not face any difficulties as a result of the lower prices and the availability of 24-hour power. He played a critical role in ensuring the TRS party maintained a commanding advantage at the Mandal level.

-Bojanna contacted the MLA and discussed the CM Relief Funds, Kalyana Lakshmi, and Shadi Mubarak funds, requesting that the cheques be handed over to the recipients.

-He is always at the forefront in giving a helping hand. He provided food for Amali workers in his PACS Director term. When residents of Kaligote village are very sick and are admitted to the hospital, Bozanna contacts the MLA on their behalf and arranges for financial assistance.

Pandemic Services

-Even during the Covid crisis, Chinna Bojanna did his share to help the people.

-He provided essentials, fruits to the poor and in the old age home and in the Orphanage.

-During the Pandemic Period, he provided fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.

-Organized an annadhanam program for the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.

-Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.

-Bojanna put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.
