• Recognizing the need for diversification in agriculture, local farmers in Devarakonda should be introduced to cash crops, fostering exposure to international standards. Simultaneously, this initiative aims to introduce Devarakonda’s agricultural produce to international markets.
• Given the historical significance of the Devarakonda region, once ruled by the Recharla Padma Nayaks and thriving with Buddhism and Shaivism, there is a call to transform the area into a tourist destination. Particularly, the preservation and development of Devarakonda Khilla, with its historical remnants, should be a priority.
• Natural attractions such as Nagarjuna Sagar, Kacharajupally, and Vizag Colonies collectively need to be transformed into tourist spots. This comprehensive development not only contributes to the region’s growth but also enhances the living standards of its residents.
• Special attention should be given to the protection and promotion of Gajubedam, the naturally formed caves. Additionally, the development of Devaracharla, Pogilla waterfalls, Yeleshwaram temples, and other sites should be prioritized for the comprehensive growth and enhancement of the region.
