Uppu Srinivas Patel

Uppu Srinivas Patel is the BJP District Working Committee Member of Karimnagar and Ward Member from Velichala village, Ramadugu Mandal. He was born on 26th January 1973 to the couple Komuraiah Patel and Chelikamma. Srinivas Patel has a long-lasting political career. He served in Politics for more than 26 years.

Education Background: 

In 1982, Srinivas Patel earned his Board of Secondary Education at Vaninikethan high school, Karimnagar. He completed Intermediate from Govt junior college, Karimnagar.

Apart from his political life Srinivas Patel successfully led his Business life in Real Estate.

A career in Politics:

Initially, he started his Political Journey as a Member of ABVP. He served in the ABVP for 2 years. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is a right-wing all-India student organization affiliated with the Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS). It is India’s third-largest student organization with more than three million members.

Srinivas officially entered into Politics with the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). He worked as a Party Activist. He was selected as Mandal Vice President of Ramadugu. During the term of the Mandal Vice President, he became more active in politics and has constantly strived for the people’s welfare.

Srinivas becomes Karimnagar Town Vice President. In view of the efforts being made for the development of the party, the party officials offered him the post of District Kisan Morcha Vice President of Karimnagar to discharge his duties and he was performed his assigned work by being very cautious during performing the activities of the Party.

Srinivas was succeeded as the District Secretary and performs his duties in order to fulfill his roles and responsibilities he served in the position for two terms. He was selected and worked as District Vice President. Srinivas is regarded as a leader who empathizes with the hardship of the people in any circumstance in general his regime is considered as a people’s regime. He was contested and elected as a Ward Member of Velichala from the BJP. He has done many welfare activities being a responsible Ward Member.

He actively took part in party programs such as party joining programs, election campaigns. He contested as MPTC but unfortunately, he lost with a slight majority difference.

The party officials offered him the post of BJP District Working Committee Member from Joint Karimnagar in the belief that he would continue his services.

Social Service to be a Active Leader: 

• Srinivas protests and holds dharnas against the decisions taken by the government against the people and seeks justice for the people.
• He has actively participated in the programs like Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath.
• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the needy people.
• Srinivas and party leaders participated in the Rama Mandir money collecting program.
• He financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issues relating to Aadhar cards.
• Srinivas provided his financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Distributed food and clothing to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount whenever required.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• Srinivas demanded that the government issue notifications quickly and protect the unemployed from suicide.

Service During the Pandemic Covid-19:

-Srinivas served even during the Pandemic time. He distributes Covid kits to the village people.

-He provided essential commodities, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people.

-Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants, arranges buses to go to their villages.

-Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19. Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.

-He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.

-Distributes Rice, Vegetables to the Masks, Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and to the village people.

-He says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.

-Srinivas served during the Second Wave of Covid also. He provided a packet of rice, pulihora, water packets, Masks, Sanitizers in the lockdown time to the poor and the elderly who live near the parks on the road cannot find anything to eat.

-He donates food and clothes to poor and orphaned children during the Second Wave Corona and satisfies the hunger of many orphans.

-Srinivas would bring oxygen cylinders to the areas where Covid victims were being treated.
