Ummadisetty Nageswara Rao is the Media Cell Convener of Ongole Parliament.

Born and Education:

He was born on 25-06-1978. His parents were Chechaiah and Konidala Tayaramma.

In 1994, Nageswara Rao studied SSC standards at Nava Bharathi Vidhyalayam, Vijayawada. He did a Diploma in the stream of Mechanical in 1998

Professional Life:

He was a Real Estate Business Magnate.

Political Career:

On 27 January 2016, Nageswara Rao officially entered into active politics with the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). In 2016, He was elected as General Secretary of the District Majdoor Morcha. He fought for Labor rights. A dharna was organized under the auspices of the Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell to protect the rights of auto workers. Nageswara Rao became known as a Party Activist by doing many party programs.

He took charge as the President of the District Majdoor Morcha in 2017. In 2019, The Ongole people elected Nageswara Rao as the Town President out of admiration for him.

In 2021, the party officially appointed Nageswara Rao as BJP Kisan Morcha General Secretary of Ongole Parliament.

Due to his active involvement, the authorities promoted him to the designation of Media Cell Convener from Ongole Parliament in 2022.

Recent Activities

The party leaders celebrated the 41st birth anniversary of the BJP under the auspices of the Ongole Parliamentary Department. The party flag was hoisted. Later in the press conference, Ongole Parliament Speaker Srinivasulu said that it was undemocratic for Education Minister Suresh to make indirect threats in the Erragondapalem constituency in the Parishad elections. Kisan Morcha General Secretary Nageswara Rao and others participated in the program.
Ongole parliamentary constituency president Srinivasulu said state development was possible only with the BJP. He urged the people to vote for BJP candidates in the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections.
Party leaders pay homage to former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna, Atal Bihari Vajpayee by placing garlands on his portrait on the occasion of his 95th birth anniversary.
Rajya Sabha member Narasimha Rao, district president Krishna Reddy, Kisan Morcha general secretary Nageswara Rao and others participated in a rally organized by the BJP from AKVK College to the Collectorate in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act.
SC, ST Sub-Plan Inquiry into misuse of funds. BJP SC Morcha Ongole Parliament members participated in the inauguration and demanded that SCs be given the opportunity to be co-option members in Markapuram, Giddaluru, and Kanigiri municipalities.

Service During Pandemic Covid-19

Service During Covid First Wave:

-Nageswara Rao served even during the pandemic also.

-He provided essential commodities, Masks, and Sanitizers to the village and poor people.

-Provided food packets, and water bottles to the migrants, and arranges buses to go to their villages.

-He provided free food service to the municipal, police, and front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.

-Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19. Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.

-Distributes Rice, vegetable to Masks, and Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and to the village people.

-He says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.

-He provided food packets, water bottles, Masks, and Sanitizers during the lockdown time to the poor and the elderly who live near the parks on the road cannot find anything to eat.

-He donates food and clothes to poor and orphaned children during the first Wave Corona and satisfies the hunger of many orphans.

Service During Covid Second Wave:

-During the second wave of the corona, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.

-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.

-Created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus.

-Conducted Annadhanam Program for poor people which served and satisfied many hungry people.

-Arranged oxygen cylinders for the covid victims and saved many lives.
