Tirunagaru Nagalaxmi Bharggav

Tirunagaru Bharggav, who serves as the Municipal Chairman of Miryalaguda, was born on September 28, 1971, to Gangadhar and Malleshwaramma in Miryalaguda. He originates from an agricultural background.

He successfully completed his SSC Standard at St. Mary High School, Miryalaguda, in 1986, and continued his education by pursuing Intermediate studies at Nagarjuna Jr. College in 1988. Moreover, he ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing his own Rice-Mill business.

Career in Politics:

Tirunagaru Bharggav embarked on his political career in 1990, affiliating himself with the Congress Party.

In 1990, Tirunagaru Bharggav served as the District Treasurer of the Youth Congress and held the esteemed position of State-wise President within the organization.

In 2005, Tirunagaru Bharggav assumed the role of Councilor, marking a significant milestone in his political career.

He transitioned to the BRS Party and in 2014, his wife was elected as a Councilor. She was subsequently chosen as the Chairman of Mirylaguda, further solidifying their family’s involvement in local governance.

In 2020, Bharggav won the position of Councilor and was subsequently chosen as the Chairman of Miryalaguda Municipality, highlighting his continued dedication to public service and leadership within the community.

Party and Social Activities:

• Tirunagaru Bharggav has actively engaged in public service, including the formation of 15-20 labor organizations, providing assistance to impoverished individuals, and initiating unions in Miryalaguda.
• Bharggav distributed essential kits containing items such as masks and sanitizer to numerous villages in Miryalaguda during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
• He also provided food and vegetables to impoverished individuals during this period of restricted movement.
• Bharggav actively participates in various social initiatives including Harithaharam, Palle Pragathi Programs, and Swachh Bharat Programs aimed at improving community welfare.
• Additionally, he extends assistance to economically disadvantaged individuals within the village.
• Bharggav advocates for and contributes to development projects such as the construction of CC roads, installation of drainage systems, provision of street lights, and addressing water scarcity issues in the village.
