Thunga Kumar

Thunga Kumar is the District President of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District of Telangana from the Political Party BSP.

Early Life&Education:

He was born on 06th June 1981 to Thunga Yadaiah and Yellamma and raised in Raghavapur Village of Alair Mandal of Yadadri district.

In the year 1998, Kumar Studied Schooling at ZP High School placed at Alair and completed Intermediate from Government Junior College located at Alair in 2002.

Kumar attained his Graduation with Degree from Ambedkar Open University resided at Alair.

Professional Life:

As continuing his duties and responsibilities Kumar proportionally set up a successful Business of his own(General Stores) and worked for 5 years and simultaneously balancing the multiple works by fulfilling the needs of people.

Early Political Life:

He has been very accustomed to political traits since childhood. He fights in the forefront to bring justice to the people. So even in college he would stand by every single individual and be their companion.

In the year 1998, After the completion of his SSC Standard, Kumar began his political career by joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which was founded by N.T. Rama Rao and headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

He worked as an Active Member by discharging his duties with a code of conduct. As being a part of TDP, Kumar expresses keen interest and performs every activity for the recognition of the respective party.

For his excellent performance during the process of his service, in the year 2001, he was appointed with the honorable position of President for the Raghavapur Village and completed the tasks assigned to him and won the admiration of the people.

While he was studying Intermediate, In the year 2001, Kumar swapped the political party from TDP to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) founded by Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao who is the Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana and worked as an Active Member for the growth of the Party.

Although growing politically, on the one hand, Being working hard for the welfare of the people with the position assigned to him simultaneously accepted the reputable position of Mandal President for Mala Mahanadu for the Alair in 2016 to be closer in terms of service to the people on the other and continued his work till 2020.

Constantly striving for the welfare of the people and expressing his feelings of service, Kumar served as a Mandal Leader from the ASFO by dealing with the issues of the people and assisted them all the way.

Later on in the year 2018, He switched to Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)as a Member and started rendering service to the people irrespective of their Caste, Race, Gender, and Religion for the growth and development of Backward Classes along with religion.

In 2019, For his dedication towards the work and service, the party allotted him for the reputable position as the General Secretary for the Alair Assembly and increased his responsibilities to address the problems faced by the people. Kumar accepted the post appointed by the party and continued his duties till 2020.

For his perseverance, dedication, and service in the year 2020, Kumar was appointed as District President of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District from BSP. Since then, he has been in the position which was assigned and rendered services to many through his kind heart with the association of the respective Party.

Being serving in the assigned positions, Kumar has performed many social and welfare activities for the people. From the moment he has begun his political life, he has been using all his resources for the people and pursuing his happy life of public welfare.

Party Activities

• Kumar is actively involved in the programs organized by the BSP. He conveyed and explained to the people about the greatness of the Party.
• He set up and engaged in every Mandal level, Village level meetings and delivered speeches by motivating the youngsters and the upcoming leaders.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved to sort out the issues raised on any topics.
• During Telangana Movement, Kumar played an active role and fought for the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh and to form the Telangana as a separate State and He lent great support to the Telangana Statehood Movement by providing intellectual support.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, Kumar will be at the forefront of the problem.
• Kumar is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.

Social&Developmental Activities:

• As Pension money from the government is to support old age people and the handicapped to make ends meet but circumstances related to pensions were cleared by providing pensions to the respective holders.
• He is fulfilling his responsibilities to help the disabled in all ways in terms of organization.
• Kumar has performed many social activities in the village, providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children, Mineral water to the Villagers.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, Drainages, and every minute problem to the individual.
• He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the essentials for survival and assisting them during the financial crises.
• Many service activities were organized such as blankets for beggars, clothes for the poor, and food for orphaned children.
• He fought against the attacks of Backward and barbaric communities to bring justice to the locality.
• With the association of the BSP, National Leaders’ anniversaries have been celebrated by remembering the services they rendered for the nation.
• Kumar is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.

Pandemic Services:

• Kumar came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant labourers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• Kumar came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
