Thotamalla Vara Prasad

Thotamalla Vara Prasad is an Indian Politician of TRS and Mandal SC Cell President of Cherla Mandal at Bhadradri Kothagudem District in the Indian State of Telangana.

Early Life and Education:

On the 16th of May 1980, Thotamalla Vara Prasad was born to a couple Mr. Thotamalla Laxmaiah and Mrs. Thotamalla Naga Rathnam resided in the village of Cherla at Bhadradri Kothagudem District.

In the year 1994, Vara Prasad acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Vivekananda Vidyanikethan High School at Khammam and completed his 2-years course Intermediate from Vivek Vardini Junior College at Kothagudem in 1996.

He finished his Graduation from Vivek Vardini Degree College at Kothagudem in 2002 and Completed his B.Ed from Kakatiya University at Khammam in the year 2005.

Professional Career:

Soon after accomplishing his education, Vara Prasad started working as a Private Lecturer for 5years in Cherla Village, and ever since he started the profession he has simultaneously handled his family responsibilities.

A career in Politics:

In the year 1996, Vara Prasad began his political career by joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and continued rendering services to the people as an Active Member of TDP.

Vara Prasad was a sincere TDP Party Activist right from his joining and propagation of its principles from the beginning. He has been deeply attracted by the policies and ideals of the party and the vision of our great leader former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and was immensely inspired by the unique schemes introduced by the Nara Chandra Babu Naidu.

Later along with Thumala Nageshwara Rao and Balasani Laxmi Narayana, In the year 2015, Vara Prasad Switched from TDP to Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) as he was highly inspired by the party founder Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao’s sense of work during the Telangana Movement.

He exposed his leadership skills by serving as the Party Activist and working comprehensively all the time for the welfare of humankind by citing code of conduct and disciplinary issues.

Upon Joining, he was designated as the Mandal SC Cell President of Cherla from TRS in 2018 for 3terms, to serve the people and tackle the issues raised by executing his tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

Ever since he started rendering services to the people with the assigned authority, he has been constantly working for them, thinking about their welfare, and gaining immense admiration from the People.

Family Participation In Politics:

Vara Prasad’s Wife naming as Thotamalla Haritha was elected as the ZPTC of Cherla from TDP in the year 2013. Venkatlaxmi Naga Vara Prasad with the association of his Wife has performed many activities which led to the development of the village.

Party Activities:

• He set up and engaged in every Mandal level, and Village level meeting at his own cost and delivered speeches by motivating the youngsters and the upcoming leaders.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, Vara Prasad will be at the forefront of the problem and he is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.
• Vara Prasad has performed many social activities in the village such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children, Mineral water to the Villagers.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, drainage, and every minute problem to the individual.
• He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during the financial crises.
• Many service activities were organized such as blankets for beggars, clothes for the poor, and food for orphaned children.

Pandemic Activities:

• Throughout the crisis, he responded selflessly, supporting those in need and offering special attention to those who had been afflicted by the lockdown. Face masks, hand sanitizers, and lunches were handed to the least fortunate, as well as cash assistance.
• He also provides Medical Camps and distributes free medicines to the poor people in their villages.
• During the first and second waves of Corona, Rama Krishna offered financial and humanitarian assistance to people who were impacted by the lockdown.
• Vara Prasad acted humanely during the crisis, assisting individuals in distress and providing additional assistance to those afflicted by the lockdown.
• During the crisis, Vara Prasad responded generously, aiding those in need and giving special support to those impacted by the lockdown.
• He offered masks, sanitizers, and meals to the underprivileged, as well as financial assistance.
• For the public’s protection, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all around the village as part of the effort to eliminate the corona outbreak.
• Vara Prasad sneaked aside to help those who were impacted by the lockdown by distributing vegetables and fruits to villagers, the destitute, and Municipality personnel while abiding by the precautions.
• An awareness demonstration was held to raise awareness about social distance and the need of adopting cautious measures to avoid the Corona Epidemic.
• During the worldwide lockdown, Vara Prasad assisted people by providing meals to them on following certain precautionary measures.
• For the villagers’ protection, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all around the village as part of the effort to exterminate the corona infection.
