Thota Ashok

Thota Ashok is an Indian Politician of the Indian National Congress Party (INC) and 02nd Ward Member of Haripirala Village of Mahabubabad district, Telangana.

CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:

On the 20th of March 1982, Ashok was born to the couple Mr. Thota Somaiah and Mrs. Thota Pullamma and raised in Haripirala Village of Mahabubabad District in the Indian state of Telangana.

He never believed in any Fancy education, he had a simple educational background as anyone did and in the year 1993, Ashok obtained his Secondary School Certificate from Zilla Parishad High School at Haripirala, Telangana.

FARMING LIFE –

Basically, Ashok hails from an Agricultural family. On the one hand, he was continuing his occupational career (Farming) by sustaining his occupational work continuing from his hereditary and on the other hand, he was handling the family responsibilities

POLITICAL CAREER –

Involvement & Participation in INC –

Ashok was influenced by many political leaders, among them are Late Sri. Rajiv Gandhi and Late Sri YS. Rajasekhara Reddy is prominent. Among the politicians, Ashok is an ardent follower of the late Chief Minister of AP Sri YS. Rajasekhara Reddy.

In the year 2000, Ashok commenced his Political career by joining the Indian National Congress Party (INC) which is ruling under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.

He shows great enthusiasm for the Party and participates actively in all activities, fulfilling his obligations by a code of conduct and for the benefit of the party’s public perception.

With unprecedented confidence in him, he was in the position of Village President of Haripirala of Thorrur Mandal from INC in 2018. He was desperately carrying out his duties without ignoring the party’s trust in him

He keeps the faith that the people have put in him and continues his service, focusing on the welfare of the people at the current time and engaging in actions that would promote the Party.

In 2019, his patience and passion earned him the position of Ward Member of 02nd from Haripirala Village of Thorrur Mandal. He has consistently worked for the people, considered their welfare, and garnered their utmost esteem.

From the inception of the party to the present day, he has worked diligently for the welfare of the people, always striving for the advancement of the party and society and deeming selfless service to society and the people.

Party Activities-

• Ashok has participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra, an ongoing radical movement initiated by Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Indian National Congress.
• Ashok has performed many developmental programs, Social activities, and Party activities for the welfare of the people.
• Every year on the Birth and Death Anniversary of Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy and also on the Birth Anniversary of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Ashok organized a blood camp in the village and donated blood for the needy people.

Social Involvement-

• Ashok was crucial in maintaining poorer people’s support programs and supporting them in surviving.
• He continues to work with the government to provide suitable jobs to the jobless who are concerned about finding suitable employment even after graduating, as well as to fight for eradicating the notion of caste and religious inequalities in society and doing his bit for human equality.
• During his rule, he worked diligently to alleviate a lot of farmers, and he was rewarded with a sizable payment in exchange for the goods the farmers produced.
• Ashok has taken part in a range of village activities, including bringing food to the elderly and orphan children and bringing mineral water to the locals.
• By fixing issues with water, sanitation, and any other minor problems that may emerge, he fulfills his duty while caring for the well-being of the residents of the village and zone.
• He provided the basic requirements for the older and less fortunate members of society and helped them when they faced financial difficulties.
• He works for the populace’s welfare and worries; consequently, many of the colony’s growth initiatives have been a smashing success.

Services were provided during Pandemic-19-

• Ashok sneaked aside to help those who were impacted by the lockdown by distributing vegetables and fruits to villagers, the destitute, and Municipality personnel while abiding by the precautions.
• He distributed masks, sanitizers, and food to the impoverished, as well as financial assistance, and an awareness demonstration was held to raise awareness about social distancing and the need of adopting cautious measures to avoid the Corona Epidemic.
• For the villagers’ protection, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all around the village as part of the effort to exterminate the corona infection.
• In response to Prime Minister Modi call, Ashok organized a Covid Vaccination Drive to raise awareness among the general public about the need of receiving a free corona vaccination
• Because self-isolated persons were unable to care for themselves, Ashok stepped forward to help them by providing basic necessities for a set amount of time while adhering to specified guidelines.
• Ashok conducted a Corona Virus awareness program and provided specific precautions to avoid the dreadful virus.
• For families who do not even have the essentials to eat at home for the poor family, in the corona infected quarantine along with the corona tablets for them, all the members of the party volunteered to come forward and help each member of the household with a daily supply of essentials directly to their home.
• At the hospital, Ashok also began offering masks and sanitizers to men suffering from corona deprivation symptoms.
• An awareness program has been conducted to spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona.
