Thatikonda Rajaiah

Thatikonda Rajaiah was the Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Ghanpur Constituency from the TRS party. He was born on 12-07-1965 to Venkataiah.

He has completed MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal in 1984. He completed DCH at Kakatiya University in 1987. He was the Doctor.

He joined the Congress party. Rajaiah won over Kadiyam Srihari in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections in 2009 from the Congress party. He Resigned on 28.11.2011 and Re-elected on 21.03.2012.

In 2011, He joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party. In 2014, in Telangana Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 1,03,662 votes.

From 2014-2015, He served as the Deputy Chief Minister for the Department of Health and Medical Family Welfare Govt. of Telangana in the Cabinet of Ministers of Sri K Chandra Sekhar Rao (KCR)led Government in Telangana with effect from the Telangana State Formation Day, 2 June 2014

In 2018, Telangana Legislative Elections, he was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 98612 votes from the TRS party.

Recent Activities:

  • MLA Tatikonda Rajaiah visited 50-60 houses in Garmillapalli village in the Ainovolu zone where 50-60 houses were uprooted due to unseasonal rains and winds, trees were broken and power poles and transformers collapsed. There he visited the bereaved families and reassured them.
  • Under the auspices of the Waswik Foundation at the MLA camp office in the Ghanpur constituency, the MLA Rajaiah distributed essential items to 1000 pastors, priests, and imams in the constituency following the interfaith gathering.
