Tejavath Balu Nayak is the Sarpanch of Thirthala village, Khammam Mandal from the BRS party.

Born and Education:

He was born on 3rd January 1992 to the couple Deepla and Chandhi in Thirthala. In 2003, he studied SSC at Antravani Vidyanikethan located at Reddypalli, and completed an undergraduate(Intermediate) from Vani Junior College in 2005. Balu Nayak attained his Graduation from DRS Degree College, Khammam.

Political Career:

Balu Nayak officially entered into Active Politics with the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) in the year 2010. He worked as a Party Activist and took part in election campaigns, party meetings, dharnas, hunger strikes, and rasta rokos against injustice. He has been successful in solving people’s problems in his political career. The people of Thirthala considered the Balu Nayak regime to be the Leadership of the people.

In response to Balu Nayak’s best performance regarding Social Service, he was appointed and served as Sarpanch of Thirthala village, Khammam Mandal from the TRS party. At the time of his appointment as Sarpanch, Balu Nayak said that he was sworn in to be available to the people at all times and to extend his full support.

Balu Nayak’s Social Service During his Sarpanch Tenture:

Corona vaccination was carried out back home as part of a 100% vaccination program in the village of Tirthala in the Khammam Rural Zone. Sarpanch Balu Nayak, ANM Gurubhay, Asha worker Suramma, and Aruna were present on the occasion.
Sarpanch Balu Nayak and TRS party members distributed Batukamma saris to Tirthala village women.
To carry out his duties as Sarpanch, Balu Nayak went home to home and gave awareness on the corona vaccine.
Sarpanch Balu Nayak and TRS leaders distributed Kalyana Lakshmi checks to the beneficiaries of Tirthala village.
Organized blood camps and medical camps in the village and donated blood for needy people under the auspicious of Balu Nayak.
He engaged in programs like Palle Pragati, Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath and made the surroundings clean.
He conducted the Annadanam program for the poor and orphanage people and distributed fruits and blankets in the orphanages and old age homes.
He has been conducting freedom fighters’ birth and death anniversaries and motivates students by telling them about their sacrifices.
Wet and dry garbage was distributed and awareness on how to use them.
Balu Nayak informed the villagers about the dangers of plastic use and prohibited its use in the village.

Balu Nayak’s efforts during the Pandemic:

Pandemic hit the people’s lives very badly. Ordinary people could not survive during the Covid crisis
As a responsible leader, Balu Nayak made his contribution even during the COVID time.
During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.
He provided food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.
Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, and front-line workers who served a lot during the coronavirus crisis.
Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
He financially helped COVID victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.
Balu Nayak put his effort into serving people even during the COVID-19 second wave.
He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.
Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the COVID-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus.
The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
Delivered food, and supplements for the covid victims by home delivery.
