Tangaturi Nagaraju

Tangaturi Nagaraju is an Indian Politician Former Mansoorabad Division President and Former AMC Director from Gaddiannaram. He is one of the district’s Senior Leaders, and his valuable service has earned him a reputation among the people in a short period of time.

Born and Education:

On 05th July 1982, Nagaraju was born to the couple Narayana and Vijayalaxmi in Venkiralla village, Bibi Nagar Mandal.

In 1995, Nagaraju completed his Schooling at St.Francis high school, located at Vanastalipuram. In 1997, He earned Intermediate from St.Marry’s junior college. Nagaraju acquired his Graduation(Degree) from Global University.

A career in Politics:

Nagaraju officially entered into Politics and started his Political Career as a Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) in 2001. In the same year, he was elected and served as Ward President.

Nagaraju joined the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) in 2009. The party officials who like Nagaraju’s leadership, morality, his ideology of doing equal justice to all the people appointed him as District Youth Organizing Secretary, and Nagraj also duly performed his duties to uphold their faith. Later on, in 2014 due to certain consequences, Nagaraju switches over to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party.

He played a major role in the TRS Party Activities. Nagaraju was chosen as an Active Leader by the villagers as soon as he joined the party, recognizing his ability to serve the people in all possible ways at any given time as a social worker and party worker.

Nagaraju was appointed and took charge as AMC Director of Gaddiannaram in 2016. He was promoted to Mansoorabad Division President he held the position from 2019-to 2022. He effectively served during his Division President regime, conducted many party meetings, and met party officials to resolve various issues.

Great Acheivements by Nagaraju:

-At the request of Tanguturi Nagaraju, who represented Mansoorabad large pond development, GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar visited the large pond and started development in 2016.

-Nagaraju along with TRS party in-charge Ram Mohan Goud, Vittal Reddy, TRS party leaders staged a Padayatra in 2015 for box drainages from Sushma Chowrasta to the Pond pond.

Nagraju’s contribution as part of fulfilling his roles and responsibilities:

• The MLAs congratulated the newly elected Mansoorabad Division Committee members from the TRS party. The Hon’ble MLA & MRFDC, who was the chief guest at the meeting organized at the Central Bank Community Hall to announce the new committees and give direction to the new committees as per the party directive. Chairman Shri Devireddy Sudhir Reddy extended best wishes and congratulations to the new Mansurabad Division Committees and Affiliated Committees. The event was attended by former corporate Shri Koppula Vithal Reddy, Hanuman Temple chairman Smt Eshwaramma Yadav, former division president Shri Tanguturi Nagaraju and new members of the TRS party.
• HMWSSB M.D. MLA with Kishore and concerned officials & MRFDCL Chairman Shri Devireddy Sudhir Reddy met and discussed various issues. During the meeting, UGD SWG Pipelines were sanctioned for water lines in Mansurabad division, Sainagar, Midhani Colony, Dattatreya Colony, Pawanagiri Colony Welfare, etc. They said for the underground drainage system the work will be completed within two months, A budget sanction of Rs 14 crore has been made for the construction of the length of 22 km. The former TRS party Mansurabad division presidents and TRS members and others participated in the event.
  
• MLA and MRDC chairman Sri Devi reddy Sudheer Reddy and Rangareddy Dist TRS party president and MLA Sri Manchi Reddy Kishan reddy staged Rastaroko in Pedda Amberpet as part of the blockade of national highways to buy center paddy at the call of Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party Working President KTR.
• Tangaturi Nagaraju participated in the working committee meeting of Telangana Kummara Sangham Association at SK Garden, LB Nagar constituency, Mansurabad division, and discussed various issues.
• Hon’ble MLA & MRFDC Chairman Shri Devireddy Sudhir Reddy was the Chief Guest at the Shri Swami Vivekananda Statue on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chaitanya Murthy Shri Swami Vivekananda who spread the prestige of the country all over the world. Former corporate Shri Koppula Vithal Reddy, TRS senior leaders, activists, and former TRS party Mansurabad division president Tanguturi Nagraj were present on the occasion.
• A dharna was held at Indira Park on the orders of the TRS party chief and chief minister KCR for clarification from the central government on paddy cultivation in the state. On this occasion MLA & MRFDC. Chairman Shri Devireddy Sudhir Reddy said that when a farmer buys a ripe crop, he is happy. That is why the dharnas will not stop until pressure is put on the Center to buy the crop in a timely manner. The rally was attended by former TRS party Mansurabad division president Tanguturi Nagraj and TRS leaders.

Nagaraju’s effort during the Pandemic

-Pandemic hit the people’s lives very badly. Ordinary people could not survive during the Covid crisis

-As a responsible leader Nagaraju gave his contribution even during the covid time.

-During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them. He provided food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-Provided Annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.

-Nagaraju put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave. He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions. Delivered food, and supplements for the covid victims by home delivery.
