Swathi Chowdary Eluri

Swathi Chowdary Eluri is an Indian Politician of the TRS and 103rd Division Mahila President of Borabanda in Hyderabad, in the Indian State of Telangana.

Early Life and Education: 

On September 21st, 1987, Swathi was born to a couple Mr. Mannepally Verabandra Rao and Mrs. Mannepally Laxmi. She was raised in Khammam, Telangana.

She completed her Secondary Board of Education at Prathiba Vidhyalayam, located at Vutkur in Khammam, Telangana.

A career in politics:

Swathi has had a strong desire to serve the public on a political level since she was a youngster. She is passionate about social service. Her never-ending desire to help others drove her into politics. Swathi joined politics for the first time in 2015, as a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Party.

Swathi and her family members are followers of Former Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, who inspired them to join the TRS party.

As a Party Activist, she tried to go above and beyond her ability for the party’s progress and put in a lot of effort for the party’s triumph from the moment she joined.

She was chosen to be the Prachara Committee Secretary of Borabanda in Hyderabad so she could help the people and solve their problems by doing her job well and following the party’s rules and policies.

Since 2016, she has improved her work ethic by serving as the 103rd Division Mahila President of Borabanda in Hyderabad for two terms of the TRS party, Telangana, and contributing to the betterment of society by doing her tasks well and according to its laws and rules.

Family Participation in Politics:

Kranthi Kumar Swathi’s husband also played a key role in the TRS party as a member, Swathi, who saw her husband’s fame and prestige in politics, also wanted to get into politics. With the motivation of her husband, she was elected as the 103rd Division Mahila President of Borabanda, Hyderabad, and Telangana. Kranthi was born to the couple of Mr. Late Pullaiah and Mrs. Sitaratnam.

Party Activities:

• Swathi was very helpful in campaigning for the contesting candidate during the elections and was the main reason for the candidate won the contest.
• She participated very enthusiastically during the election and briefly explained the rules of the party to every single voter. She worked hard for the party’s victory.
• She has always fought against decisions made by the central and state governments that hurt people. She has held many protests and dharnas.
• She was briefing the people on the welfare schemes introduced by the government for the upliftment of the backward classes through a mobilization program.

Social Activities:

• She is involved in many social activities like Palle Pragathi, Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharath Programs, and helping poor people in his area, as well as development activities like CC Roads, Drainage, Street Lights, and Water Problems in his area.
• As a part of environmental protection, she has taken an active role by participating in the Haritha Haram Program and planting plants in the village.
• By notifying the issues in the village, she solved many problems and gave pensions like widow pensions, old-age pensions, and handicapped pensions, as well as distributing white ration cards in their area.
• During her reign, roads were constructed as part of the colony’s socioeconomic development, and damaged roads were repaired as part of the program.
• She has conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. She stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare.

Pandemic Activities:

• During the first and second waves of Corona, she helped people who were affected by the lockdown financially and in other ways.
• During the crisis, she responded with compassion, aiding people who were in distress and offering further assistance to those who were harmed by the lockdown.
• Swathi came forward to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and municipality employees while following the procedures in place and distributing COVID kits to the members who were afflicted with the appropriate sickness while in their home quarantine.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distancing and the need to take precautionary steps in an attempt to prevent the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free Corona vaccination.
