Sutari Vasu Chary

Sutari Vasu Chary is the Colony President of N.T.R Nagar Colony in Meerpet from the Political Party TRS.

Early Life&Education:

Being born into a rural middle-class family on 14th February 1981 for the couple Suthari Ramesh and Lalitha at Mallapur Village of Medchal–Malkajgiri District.

He never believed in Fancy education. He had a simple education background as anyone and everyone does like Secondary Board of Education from Government High College resided at Lalapet of Secunderabad in 1996.

Early Political Career:

Vasu Chary has a huge political career. He came into politics with great interest and with the idea of serving the people.

Shortly before the end of his studies in 2002, he entered politics with a passion for Politics, Vasu Chary joined Indian National Congress(INC) often called the Congress Party, and worked as an Active Member for few years discharging his duties with code of conduct.

As being a part of INC, Vasu Chary express keen interest and performs every activity for the recognition of the respective party.

In the Year 2014, After being served the people in the party by following the assigned rules and regulations, Vasu Chary swapped the Political Party from INC to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) founded by Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao who is the Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana.

As soon as he entered the Party in 2014, He was designated with the position of Colony President for NTR Nagar in Meerpet and provided services to bring a solution to the problems faced by people and to continue his duties and serve people in all the way.

He has been elected Colony President 3 times in a row since 2014 for services rendered by the people.

He maintains the trust placed in him by the people and continues his service, thinking for the welfare of the people for the moment.

Although growing politically, on the one hand, Being working hard for the welfare of the people with the positions assigned to him simultaneously working as a Social Activist to be closer in terms of service to the people on the other.

From the moment he was given the position till now he has been using all his resources for the people and pursuing his happy life of public welfare and briefly outlining and following the rules and regulations for the betterment of the party as well as the welfare of the people.

Recent Activities

• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved to sort out the issues raised on any topics.
• During Telangana Movement, Vasu Chary played an active role and fought for the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh and to form the Telangana as a separate State and He lent great support to the Telangana Statehood Movement by providing intellectual support.
• Vasu Chary is actively involved in the programs organized by the Party.
• He conveyed and explained to the people about the greatness of the Party all over the constituency.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, Vasu Chary will be at the forefront of the problem.
• Vasu Chary is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.

Students Welfare Activities:

• He solved every single problem faced by the students in the College.
• He altered the hostel surroundings for students and Raised the hostel environment by providing proper infrastructure facilities.
• As soon as it came to his notice that there were no proper facilities in the College and the college, new furniture was arranged.
• He arranged all the facilities in the hostel without any restriction for a single student.
• Vasu Chary mainly focused on issues related to students like Fee reimbursement, Scholarships and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted to students immediately.
• Vasu Chary laid a big platform for the bright future of the students by organizing an awareness seminar to inform them about the importance of education in College.
• Vasu Chary fights for job reservation for students who are struggling to find a decent job after the conclusion of their education to lead their livelihood.
• He favors those who work in line with the ideals of Ambedkar and Phule.

Social & Developmental Activities:

• As Pension money from the government is to support old age people and the handicapped to make ends meet but circumstances related to pensions were cleared by providing pensions to the respective holders.
• He is fulfilling his responsibilities to help the disabled in all ways in terms of organization.
• Vasu Chary has performed many social activities in the village such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children, Mineral water to the Villagers.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, Drinages and every minute problem to the individual.
• He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the basic essentials to them for the survival and also assisted them during financial crisis.
• Many service activities were organized such as blankets for beggars, clothes for the poor, and food for orphaned children.
• Helped a lot financially for the migrant workers and the poor. Free meals were provided to orphans and the elderly each year.
• Vasu Chary has not limited his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.
• He fights over the problems of the people, for the welfare of the people.
• A water tank was constructed in the village and water tops were provided to every household to alleviate the water shortage in the colony.
• Since no one had focused on freshwater issues for a long time, Chari came forward and solved the water problems.
  Fighting over rising water bills and electricity bills.
• A community hall was built in the colony with his fellow leaders on 1000 square yards.
• Many of the colony’s development programs were a resounding success.
• Every year a blood donation camp and a medical camp are set up in the colony and medicines are provided free of cost to those in need.
• At the end of the colony, a temple was built for the welfare of the people.
• He always stood by the people of the colony. He does his part to help those in need.
• Clean and Green was aimed to increase green cover and improve sanitation in villages. As a part of Haritha Haram, massive plantation programs were taken up and the power supply has improved.
• Besides taking up sanitation works, debris of ruined houses/buildings was removed as part of the Palle Pragathi. Removal of stagnant water, filling potholes on the roads, and weeding out wild plants, were also part of the program.

Pandemic Services:

• Vasu Chary came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• Vasu Chary came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
• Vasu Chary also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
