Suryanarayana Raju

Suryanarayana Raju is the State General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh from the BJP. He is one of the most powerful leaders in the State. He strongly believes that a Leader is someone who demonstrates what is possible. Suryanarayana Raju, who has been in politics for over more than 20 years and is a loyal supporter of the people, has built a good reputation among the people.

Born and Education:

He was born on 18th February 1972 in Amalapuram. His parents were Srirama Murthi Raju and Padmani Prakashamma.

In 1988, Suryanarayana Raju completed his schooling at ZP Boys high school. He earned Intermediate from Ushodaya junior college in 1990. In 1993, Suryanarayana Raju attained his Graduation(Degree) from SKBR degree college, Andhra University. Suryanarayana Raju gets into higher education with his Post Graduation he attained M.SC(Mathematics) from Osmania University.

Professional Life:

Apart from his political career Suryanarayana Raju led a successful life as a Businessman.

A career in Politics:

Suryanarayana Raju joined the ABVP(Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) he served as Student Leader in the ABVP from 1990-to 1995. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is a right-wing all-India student organization affiliated to the Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS).

Suryanarayana, who began his political career as a student leader, rose quickly to prominence as a popular leader through engaging in party programs and public welfare. Officials praised Suryanarayana’s contributions to the ABVP and elected him to the position of ABVP State Leader.

Suryanarayana Raju made his political debut with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was appointed as the BJP’s General Secretary and is carrying out his tasks in order to fulfill his obligations and responsibilities. In 1995, Suryanarayana Raju becomes District General Secretary. During the term of the General Secretary, he became more active in politics and has constantly strived for the people’s welfare.

Senior BJP leader from the Konaseema area in East Godavari Vetukuri Suryanarayana Raju has been appointed as President of AP BJP Kisan Morcha. Vetukuri in the last 23 years served in different capacities as East Godavari Yuva Mocha President, district BJP unit president, and State Party Committee Member. A letter of appointment has been received by Vetukuri from Party National President Amit Shah. Senior Party Leaders Y.Malakomdayya, P.Ravikiran and others congratulated Vetukuri. On this occasion, he said that he will serve the party and for the cause of the farming community to the best of his ability.

The people of Kakinada City considered the Suryanarayana Raju regime to be the Leadership of the People. He has simplicity, flexibility, and transparency in the people under his leadership, and in general, his leadership is called the administration of the people, and this period is considered to be the Golden Era in the history of East Godavari.

Suryanarayana Raju’s Responsive Leadership Activities:

• BJP State President Suryanarayana Raju and other prominent BJP leaders took part in a BJP dharna near Kakinada Collectorate demanding the unconditional release of Nandyal BJP president Srikanth Reddy.
• Bharatiya Janata Party state general secretary Vetukuri Suryanarayana Raju and party state intellectual wing convener Dr. Mutta Naveen Krishna said that “Language and culture would lay the foundation for a Superior Society”. They held a press conference at Kakinada R&B Guest House. Speaking on the occasion, Gidugu Ramamurthy Panthulu, who has rendered special service in translating Telugu from grammar to vernacular, said that the 158th-anniversary celebrations will be held weekly throughout the state.
• BJP District President Suryanarayana alleged that the Congress party at the Center had spread divisions in the state just for the sake of votes. He has attended a press conference at the premises of a local Travelers. Prior to the partition of the state, the government had to clarify what package the people of Seemandhra would be given for territorial rights and development and would go ahead without announcing them.

• BJP Kisan Morcha State President Suryanarayana urged farmers to take advantage of welfare schemes implemented by the central government. He was the chief guest at the meeting, which was chaired by Mandal Kisan Morcha President PVV.Narasimha Raju.
• BJP Kisan Morcha State President Suryanarayana Raju demanded that the state government support the farmers by paying their share of all the schemes implemented by the Modi government for the welfare of the farmers. He was on a visit to the district to participate in the membership registration drive under the auspices of the Kisan Morcha district branch.
• State President Suryanarayana Raju presented prizes to the winners of the BJYM-led competition in Amalapuram district on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti celebrations.
• At the party-state office in Vijayawada, the BJP Andhra Pradesh Building Committee meeting was held with the chief guest, Veni, National Supervisor of Party Economic Affairs, and Shri Saida Reddy, Convener of the State Building Committee. As part of the meeting, discussions were held with the State Building Committee members, district presidents, and principal secretaries regarding the district party offices under construction across the state and where constructions are to be started and appropriate decisions were taken.
• BJP state president Shri Somu Veerraju inspected the work of Kakinada Smart City. District General Secretary Surya Narayana Raju, BJP leaders, and public representatives were present on the occasion.
