Suresh Manchanpally

Suresh Manchanpally is the Town General Secretary and Former TRSV District President of Vikarabad, Telangana State. He was born on 30th December 1986 in Vikarabad. His parents were Ramulu and Sathamma.

Education Background:

In 2004, Suresh completed his schooling at Nagarjuna high school. From 2004-2006, he earned Intermediate from Nalanda junior College, Vikarabad.

Political Career:

He has been associated with the Student’s Federation of India(SFI) since 2005. The Student’s Federation of India is an Indian left-wing student organization, politically aligned to the ideology & political views of the Communist Party of India. The SFI is India’s largest student organization with more than 4.3 million members. He served in the SFI from 2005-2006. He fought and has solved many student issues during his SFI Member tenure. From 2006-2007, he worked as Town President from Vikarabad.

In 2007, He switches over the Telangana Rashtra Samiti Vidyarthi Vibhagam(TRSV). Suresh was selected and worked as Town President for his second term from TRSV. He played an active role in the development of the party and took part in each and every activity. Suresh becomes TRSV District President of Vikarabad.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Suresh worked as Party Activist during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao. He took part in Hunger Strikes, Rally, Protest Programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies, as a part of the Telangana Movement and went to jail during the agitation. Suresh has participated in the movement to make Vikarabad a district.

Suresh’s mother Sathamma is also active in Politics she was contested as Councilor in the Lady Reserved Municipal Elections. Suresh campaigned on behalf of his mother in the Municipal Elections and led her to victory she served in the position from 2014-2019.

The party authorities selected him as District Walta Committee Member officially in 2015 in recognition of his constant effort and tireless work.

In 2020, He succeeded as Town General Secretary of Vikarabad, Telangana State and currently serving in the position. On his appointment as the General Secretary, Suresh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the party officials for posting with confidence on him and swore that he would discharge his duty properly.

Development Activities in Suresh mother Sathamma’s Tenure :

• Suresh Participated in the Village development activities along with her mother Sathamma in the village like laying of CC Roads,
  -Digging of Borewells with his own money at the main places in the village
  -Putting up Street Lights and checking them regularly
  -Clearance of Drainage systems once a week
  -Fittings of CC Cameras under the Police Control and Solving water Problems.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• Every Year he celebrates Freedom Fighters Birth anniversaries and distributes food packets to the villagers and also conducts Cultural and Traditional programs in the village.
• He accompanied many Mandal level party meetings in the town and also organized Party Membership Programs. Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party
• With a quote of “No Cause of Pollution”, He has taken an active interest in environmental protection by participating in the Haritha Haram Program. He declares that every house must have at least four trees and casts the plants in Hamlet.
• On focusing the improvement in cleanliness and hygiene in urban and rural areas, in workplaces and homes, Sathyanarayana Garu Conducted Swachh Bharat Program with the slogan “One step towards cleanliness.”
• Suresh actively participated in the Palle Pragathi program, which aims to improve rural sanitation and develop green cover.

Service During the Covid Crisis:

-Suresh rendered his service to the people of  Vikarabad even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Suresh put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
