Sunnam Rajaiah

MLA, Chinnamattapalli, Vararamachandrapuram, Bhadrachalam, Khammam, Telangana, CPI.

Sunnam Rajaiah was the MLA of Bhadrachalam Constituency. He was born on 25-03-1958 to Rajulu. He has completed SSC in 1976. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family.

He started his political journey with the Communist Party of India(CPI) party. From 1999-2003, in Andhra Pradesh assembly elections he was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with a margin of 46058 votes from Bhadrachalam Constituency.

From 2004-2009, in the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from the CPI party.

In 2014, in the Telangana Assembly elections, he was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with a margin of 57750 from the YSRCP party.

He contested and lost the 2019 Assembly elections from Rampachodavaram to the AP Assembly. He died on August 4, 2020, due to COVID-19.
