Sudharshan Foundation-Charitable Trust

Sudharshan is an Indian Social Activist and Founder and Chairman of Sudharshan Foundation Charitable Trust in Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

On the 01st of June 1980, Sudharshan was born to the couple Mr Korra Raut and Mrs Korre Rebika and raised in Araku Valley in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

In 1995, Sudharshan acquired his Secondary Board of Education from C.A.H High School at Araku and completed his Intermediate Course from Bullai Junior College at Vizag in 1997.

He attained a Graduation in Degree from Bullai Degree College at Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, in 2001.

CAREER IN SOCIAL LIFE:

Sudharshan has been in service since he was a child. From an early age, he strongly desired to work in public service. He has participated in several service activities while pursuing his education.

Since 2004, he has served as a Social Activist and participated in welfare and developmental initiatives and awareness campaigns to benefit society’s people.

With the sole idea of assisting the people in all possible ways, In 2004, His dedication to work and involvement in every activity made him establish the Girijana People Welfare Society (GPWS)  to expand his services to every level by serving as Founder and Chairman of the Welfare Society.

Even when Sudharshan increased his commitments by embracing respectable positions, there was no deficit in providing services to the people by satisfing the requirements of everyone who appealed to him for assistance.

Services Rendered through the GPWS:

• Sudharshan was primarily concerned with matters about students, such as fee reimbursement, and worked tirelessly to guarantee that students received scholarships swiftly.
• He arranged for all of the amenities in the hostels to be accessible to every student, advised the hostel operators to offer better facilities, and ensured that proper food was served.
• In addition to offering a predetermined amount for the well-being of families who lost loved ones, he broadened his efforts to assist impoverished persons and orphans whose lives had been severely impacted by the murder of their parents.
• He strives and fights ceaselessly for the welfare of the people. He will aid people who seek his assistance and give them the necessities.
• Sudharshan has established and conducted several district-level social programs to benefit those in need.
• He often conducts medical camps in and around villages for various illnesses and lifestyle disorders, and he has successfully disseminated knowledge about how to avoid becoming sick.
• Anti Alcoholic Treatment has been given to the people who have been addicted to Alcohol for this Alcoholic De-addiction Program has been conducted and create awareness about the effects of such addiction. Many of them stopped drinking entirely and lived happily with their families, with a lot of responsibilities.

Sudharshan’s sense of service was exposed by establishing a charitable Trust named the Sudhashan Foundation-Charitable Trust in 2021 with Reg No: 127/2021 and has been serving as the Founder and Chairman of the respective society and continued to provide his service to the public, as well.

Services performed through the SFCT:

• He is the first responder to everyone needing assistance in the area around him. He continues to help society by assisting individuals who seek assistance without reservation.
• By assisting those in need, he earned the adoration of the whole society. His early commitment to social work gained him a reputation as an educated man.
• He continues to fight for eradicating the idea of caste and religious differences in society and doing his part for human equality, and is fighting with the government to provide proper employment to the unemployed who are worried about getting a decent job even after graduation.
• He provided moral support to the villagers and created employment for the graduated students who were being unemployed after the conclusion of their education. 
• Blood donation camps and Medical camps were set up in the village by donating blood and providing medicines free of cost to the needy people.
• To resolve the issues in the Village and empowerment of the unemployed people, Sudharshan collected money in the form of donations from the people and solved the local problems.
• He provided Mike Sound System and employed the unemployed people in his locality.
• He extended his service work by assisting the poor children by providing free tutorial classes in the school and support for their education.

Services performed during the 19 influenza pandemic:

• During Corona’s first and second waves, Sudharshan offered financial and humanitarian assistance to those impacted by the lockdown. During the crisis, he behaved compassionately, supporting people in need and providing further service to those impacted by the lockdown.
• Throughout the crisis, he reacted with generosity, rescuing people in need and providing special precautions to those affected by the lockdown. Sudharshan provided the less fortunate with face masks, hand sanitisers, meals, and economic assistance.
• As a result of the socioeconomic partition created by the Covid-19 restrictions, he has been providing crucial supplies to water-scarce regions.
• Sudharshan slipped through to assist people affected by the lockdown by distributing vegetables and fruits to the affected communities, the homeless, and Municipality employees, following the established protocols.
• He helped the needy by offering masks, hand sanitisers, food, and financial assistance.
• During the corona, for six consecutive months, clothing, food, and medication were supplied to the tribals around Bhadrachalam. In addition, educational support was offered for the youngsters there.
• A meeting was held to raise awareness about social distance and the need to implement preventive measures to stop the spread of the Corona Epidemic.
• Upon the effective eradication of the coronavirus, people were sprayed with a sodium hypochlorite solution to ensure they would not suffer any adverse effects.
• The Covid Vaccine Drive was initiated in response to a plea from Prime Minister Modi to increase people’s awareness of the necessity to get a free corona immunisation.
• During the pandemic, a door-to-door survey was undertaken to raise awareness of the virus and recommend protective measures.
• During the corona pandemic, free drugs were distributed to increase awareness about the need to avoid the disease.
