With two decades of experience in the corporate sector, I, Srinivasarao Kantubukta, have had a diverse and fulfilling career. My journey spans both technical and administrative roles across various industries in India and abroad. My professional background includes significant roles at renowned companies such as Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL) and ONGC Petro Additions Ltd (OpaL) in Gujarat. My political journey began with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), where I completed Prathama Varsha training, and later transitioned to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2013. My roles within the party have been varied and impactful, including serving as the NRI Cell Convener in Dubai, managing finances as BJP OBC Morcha State Treasurer, and holding district and state-level positions. I have been involved in significant election campaigns and played a crucial role in strengthening the party’s organizational structure and outreach.

Beyond politics, I have actively participated in community and cultural initiatives, both in India and abroad. I engaged in the Gandhi-Sankalpa Yatra, supported cultural preservation in the UAE, and contributed to national projects like the Ram Mandir fundraising campaign. Srinivasarao Kantubukta was born on 28th August 1976 in Visakhapatnam, a prominent coastal city in Andhra Pradesh. He hails from a humble and hardworking family. His father, Late Shri Ramulu, was a dedicated farmer who worked tirelessly to support his family and contribute to the agricultural community. His mother, Late Smt. Narayana was a devoted homemaker who played a significant role in shaping Srinivasarao’s values and character. Growing up in a rural environment, he learned the importance of discipline, perseverance, and the value of hard work from an early age. These values laid the foundation for his personal and professional journey.

Srinivasarao Kantubukta’s educational journey is marked by determination and a commitment to continuous learning. He began his formal education by completing his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from LNR High School in Visakhapatnam in 1991. His academic performance during these foundational years laid the groundwork for his future achievements.

Eager to further his education, Srinivasarao enrolled at MR College in Vizianagaram, where he completed his Intermediate studies in 1993. This phase of his academic life helped him develop a deeper understanding of the subjects he was passionate about, motivating him to pursue higher education.

In 1998, he achieved a significant milestone by earning his Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Andhra University in Visakhapatnam. This accomplishment not only broadened his knowledge but also equipped him with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the professional world.

Recognizing the importance of continued education, Srinivasarao pursued his post-graduation as “ Certified Energy Auditor” from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, New Delhi. Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL), Vadodara, Gujarat

During his 8-year tenure in India’s petrochemical industry, Srinivasarao spent about 5 years at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL), located in Vadodara, Gujarat. IPCL, which was once recognized as one of India’s NAVA RATNAS, has since become part of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). At IPCL, Srinivasarao held the position of Manager-Technology. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing and managing technological operations, which included developing and implementing advanced technological solutions, improving production processes, and ensuring that the technological aspects of projects met the highest standards of efficiency and innovation. Srinivasarao Kantubukta’s international career spans 12 years, with notable experience as a Technical Process Engineer at Petro Rabigh in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. During his 6-year tenure at Petro Rabigh, a prominent joint venture between ARAMCO (Saudi Arabia) and Sumitomo Chemical (Japan), Srinivasarao played a pivotal role in optimizing technical processes within one of the region’s largest integrated refining and petrochemical complexes. His responsibilities included overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of refining processes, developing and implementing process improvements, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations. His contributions were instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, increasing production capacities, and supporting the company’s strategic goals in the competitive petrochemical industry.

Borouge, Ruwais, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.)

Following his successful tenure at Petro Rabigh, Srinivasarao moved to Borouge, a renowned joint venture between ADNOC (Abu Dhabi) and Borealis (Austria), located in Ruwais, United Arab Emirates. As a Project & Process Engineer at Borouge for approximately 6 years, Srinivasarao was deeply involved in the management and execution of large-scale projects within the polymer production facilities. In 2013, Srinivasarao Kantubukta embarked on a mission to uplift marginalized communities by co-founding ‘THODU-Trust’ in the Paderu area of Visakhapatnam. Along with the late Sri Lokula Gandhi, he laid the foundation of this organization to address the pressing socio-economic issues faced by rural populations. Organising Secretary of JTA-Jeddah Telugu Association

Srinivasarao’s leadership transcends borders, as he played a pivotal role as the Organising Secretary of the Jeddah Telugu Association (JTA) in Saudi Arabia. His involvement with JTA began with a passion for uniting the Telugu-speaking diaspora and creating a close-knit community of Telugu expatriates living in Jeddah. As the Organising Secretary, Srinivasarao took responsibility for arranging various cultural and social events aimed at maintaining and promoting Telugu traditions among those residing far from their homeland.

Through his efforts, JTA provided a platform for Telugu expatriates to celebrate festivals, engage in cultural exchanges, and preserve their native customs and language.
