Siriyapureddy Manikanta Reddy is an Indian Politician and current Mandal Student Union President from Muddanur Mandal in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION–

Manikanta was born on 25th December 1994, to the couple Mr. Siriyapureddy Shiva Reddy and Mrs. Siriyapureddy Anil Kumari and resided in the Velpucherla Village of Muddanur Mandal at YSR Kadapa district in the respective State of Andhra Pradesh.

In the year 2011, Manikanta studied Secondary Board of Education from Keshav Reddy Residential School at Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh. In the year 2013, he completed his intermediate course from Narayana Junior College at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.

Later he holds graduation with a degree from Hindustan University at Chennai in India and accomplished it in the year 2017.

EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS-

After the conclusion of his higher studies, On 03rd November 2018, Manikanta Reddy commenced his political career by joining the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) founded by currently designated as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and President of YSRCP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He demonstrated his leadership abilities by serving as a Party Activist and tirelessly fighting for the benefit of humanity. As a member of the YSRCP, Manikanta actively participated in promoting the party’s recognition.

In recognition of his continued service, the party not only promoted him to the position of Student Union President in January 2019 from Muddanur but also increased his responsibilities to discharge his duties.

Ever since he was started rendering services to the people with the assigned authority, he has been constantly working for them, thinking about their welfare, and gaining immense admiration from the People.

FAMILY PARTICIPATION AND INVOLVEMENT IN THE POLITICS-

Mrs. Siriyapureddy Shiva Reddy joined politics after being inspired by YS Jagan’s political activism. He has been following in her Son’s ways and providing altruistic services to the public since he first engaged in politics.

During the Election Poll on 22nd February 2021, Siriyapureddy Shiva Reddy has Contested for the honorable position as Sarpanch and the party entrusted him with the position of Sarpanch with the majority of 110 votes attributable to his dedication to the work.

Shiva Reddy has been representing the YSRCP and contributing to the development of society since the day she joined the party, by executing his tasks effectively as a Sarpanch from YSRCP and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

Student Developmental Activities-

• He solved every single problem faced by the students in the schools and Colleges.
• He distributed stationery items to the school children and gave them books that they should move steadily with great enthusiasm.
• As soon as it came to his notice that there were no proper facilities in the college, new furniture was arranged.
• Manikanta mainly focused on students like Fee reimbursement and Scholarships, Buss pass issues and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted to students immediately.
• Manikanta laid a big platform for the students’ bright future by organizing an awareness seminar to inform them about the importance of education in College.
• Every year on 15th August Independence Day and 26th January Republic Day celebrations are held at the school and cultural events are organized and plates and prizes are awarded to the winners of the event.

Blood Donation Camp–

Manikanta organized a Blood donation camp and donates blood to the extreme people.
This has started with the thought of no INDIAN should die with lack of blood and by implementing into reality started a group with countable members and started donating all the blood- Normal groups, Negative Groups, Rare Groups across INDIA with the help of donors.
He set up Health Camps for those in desperate need, and he took control of their lives by taking them into a Government hospital. He was a powerless servant to people living in poverty.

Social & Welfare Activities-

• Manikanta has been installing street lights in Velpucherla Village, paving dividers, paving CC roads, eliminating drainage problems, alleviating power shortages, and solving water problems.
• Each year, he commemorates YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s birth anniversary by donating clothing, food, and other necessities to the less fortunate.
• Manikanta has helped the village by supplying food and bedsheets to the elderly and orphaned children, as well as mineral water to the residents.
• He aided the village’s elderly and needy residents by supplying them with the basic necessities for existence and by assisting them through financial troubles.
• Each year on 12th March, Manikanta visits orphan homes to Celebrate MLA Sudheer Reddy’s birth anniversary and provides them with free food and accommodation.
• He fights for the people’s concerns, their welfare, and their rights. Many of the colony’s development initiatives were a huge success.
• He took part in village development operations with the additional assistance of YSRCP Leaders.

Services Rendered During The Pandemic Covid-

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those who were impacted by the lockdown during the first and second waves of Corona. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people who were in distress and offering further assistance to those who were harmed by the locking down.
• He reacted generously throughout the crisis, assisting people in need and providing particular assistance to individuals who had been affected by the lockdown. Manikanta distributed face masks, hand sanitizers, and meals to the less fortunate, as well as financial support for them.
• By the social distance created by the Covid-19 regulations, he has been distributing essential commodities to assist water-scarce areas.
• Manikanta sneaked away to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place.
• An awareness demonstration was performed in order to raise awareness about social distance and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
