Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary

MLA, Narsakkapalli, Parkal, Bhupalapalle, Warangal, Telangana, TRS.

Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary was the 2014-MLA of Bhupalapalle Constituency. He was born on 13-10-1956 to Venkatanarasaiah in Narsakkapalli village. He has completed an M.A. in English Literature from Kakatiya University, Warangal. He married Uma Devi.

He joined the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) in 1982. From 1994-1999, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative elections, he was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) with a margin of 36924 votes from the Shyampet Constituency.

He started working with Telangana CM Sri K.Chandrashekar Rao 10–12 months before the TRS party was formally launched in April 2001. He lent great support to the Telangana Statehood Movement by providing intellectual support.

He was one of the TRS founder’s members and was made General Secretary in October 2001. He was a Politburo Member and General Secretary. He also worked as a TRS Party Spokesperson. He was selected as the First Legislative Chairman.

He joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party(TRS). In 2014, Telangana Assembly elections he elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) by defeating former Chief Whip, Gandra Venkataramana Reddy. He was the first Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly from 2014-2019.

Recent Activities:

On the occasion of TRS Executive President Sri Kalvakuntla Tarakarama Rao’s birthday, Telangana’s first legislative chairman, TRS founder member Sri Sirikonda Madhusudhanachari Garu planted a tree.

On the occasion of Telangana Rashtra Samithi formation day, party president, Chief Minister Sri KCR Garu inaugurated the party flag in Telangana Bhavan. Party Working President Sri KTR Garu, TRS party founding member Sirikonda Madhusudanachari and other party leaders participated in this program.
