Shiva Narsimhan Thantry

Shiva Narsimhan Thantry is a Famous Astrologist, Indian Social Activist and Laureate of Harathi Samrat from Kerala in India.

Early Life and Education:

On the 24th of August 1973,  Shiva Narsimhan was born in Thrivela of Parashurama shektram in Thiruvananthapuram district in the Indian state of Kerala and raised by his parents, Mr. Late. Shiva Rajan Thrimeni and Mrs. Late. Shiva Kuttimalu Amma, in Kerala , India.

In 1990, Shiva Narsimhan completed his Kerala Thrivela, a 12 Years Course on Tantras and acquired knowledge about the Indian tradition and culture varied scriptures pertaining to any of several esoteric traditions rooted in Hindu and Buddhist philosophy.

Career as an  Astrologer:

Astrology is the science of time that dictates the laws illustrated by the stars and planets. Shiva Narsimhan started his professional career in 2000 as an Astrologist through Sree Malayala Bagavathi Petam.and assisted many people from problems to lead their happy life.

Shiva Narsimhan was specialized in many complications invovlved in the routine life of the people in the society especially Delay in foreign visa, Employment opportunities in Government sector, delay in Marriages, House related Problems, etc. can be easily solved by Mr Shiva Narsimhan.

Career as an Devotees of Ayyappan:

Ayyappan Deeksha or Ayyappa Mala Dharna is the most auspicious spiritual practice observed in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala during the winter season. 

During the Winter Season in 1989, Shiva Narsimhan started his Ayyappa Deeksha as a devotee reserve and are assigned a pilgrimage day from one of the 60 days on the way to  Shrine Shabarimala.

Many Ayyappa Poojas were organized during the period of his Deeksha. In all over the Medchal District, Shiva Narsimhan created a hallmark for his unconditional devotional service to Lord Ayyappan.

On the day of the pilgrimage up the hills and through the forest, along with the Ayyappan devotess, Shiva Narsimhan goes by  barefoot, by carrying Irumudi and wore Tulasi mala and Rudraksha beads around their neck to reach the Shabarimala.

Shiva Narsimhan Highlighted Services to the Ayyappan:

Every year in the month of Kartika, as part of the Ayyappa Bhakti Seva, he wears the Ayyappa Swami mala and carries the Manikanta to the temple on a Gaja Rath among diyas.

Due to Shiva Narasimhan’s immense devotion to Ayyappa ultimately earned him the privilege of serving the god sincerely in Sabarimala.

He was recognised and was awarded by the “Harati Samrat” for his tremendous harathi performance during the Ayyappan Padi Puja 

Piligrimage visit to Kasi to Varanasi:

On the occasion of Karthika Pournami, Shiva Narsimhan will make the trip from Hyderabad to Kasi. On this special occasion, he would always light the Diyas.

In Kasi, he would often attend kedhargat for Annadhanam and continue to participate in Agora Maha Yagnas. Every time he visits to Kasi, he lodges with the Agoras and travels with them on the Kasi Yatra.

Shiva Narsimhan will ignite one million diyas in the holy city of Varanasi. On Karthika Pournami, he will lead hundreds of worshippers from Varanasi to Kasi on the banks of the Ganges to ignite diyas in celebration.

Involvement in Navaratri:

• Shiva Narsimhan wears the Durga mala annually during Dussehra; it is known as Navarathrulu. During navarathrulu, he would perform the Homam for nine days to remove all the negativity from the people lives. All the devotees will participate in the Homam to honour Durga mata in her many incarnations.
• On the tenth day of Durga Pooja, Narsimhan used to present different clothes to girls, the Orphans and conduct annadanam. 

Services through the Foundations&Oldage Homes:

• Prior to his passing, Shiva Narsimhan sponsored the higher education of underprivileged children who had had lost their parents. At the head of the foundation’s request, he provides rice bags, rations and all the necessary items to the needy people.
• On the birthday of Shiv Narsimhan and those of his family members, as well as other significant events, he would perform the Annadhanam at charitable foundations and old people in general homes for the elderly.
• Sarees were donated by Shiv Narsimhan to ladies at nursing homes.

Awareness about the Indian History:

The history of worship in India is one of hybridisation. Shiva Narsimhan conducted many Programs to create awareness of the young stars which are related to devotional  history. The history of devotional movements is as old as the worship of the main deities. 

Although Hinduism is sometimes depicted as having  30,000 gods among its pantheons, most major devotional movements of the past two thousand years have focused on just a few. In addition to these popular gods, there are hundreds of gods that have emerged from older customs and beliefs. There are household deities, village deities, forest and mountain deities, agricultural deities and regional deities. Some of these deity movements are as old as the main deity movements, and followers of these deities often have connected histories and rituals.

Gaushala:

Cow is revered by more than 70% of the population of our country. Although the cattle population of the country is dominated by indigenous cattle, but the population of crossbred cattle has increased significantly. 

Shiva Narasimhan running the Gaushala and dedicated his service to safeguard the cattle. It has been used to preserve these indigenous animals. Every Saturday, he feeds Greengram and leaf vegetables to cows. 

The Gaushala has diverse purposes, its main aim is to provide shelter to stray cattle, improve the health of infirm, unproductive, diseased and abandoned cattle. He feeds food to Elephant and provides medicines to the unhealthy one.

• Shiva Narsimhan used to distribute the books to the students who are in need. 
• He used to provide donations to temples in Kerala, Kasi, Hyderabad, Ujjain, and Srisailam.
• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals and orphans who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• He served the elderly and needy in the community by supplying them with the necessities of life and assisting them through times of financial hardship.
• He played an active role in ensuring that help programs for the poor were in place and that they were able to survive their existence.

Services Rendered During Pandemic:

• During the Pandemic Shiva Narsimhan provided Rice Bags, food packets, and water bottles to the people.
• He Distributes masks, Sanitisers, and Medicines to protect People from Covid.
• During Corona’s first and second waves, he offered financial and humanitarian assistance to people impacted by the lockdown. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, assisting those in need and extending further support to those who the lockdown had victimised. 
• Throughout the crisis, he responded selflessly, supporting those in need and offering special attention to those afflicted by the lockdown. Face masks, hand sanitisers, and lunches were handed to the least fortunate, as well as cash assistance.
• He has been distributing vital supplies to aid water-scarce places due to the social distance created by the Covid-19 restrictions.
• Shiva Narsimhan snuck out to help those who had been devastated by the lockdown by distributing veggies and fruits to communities, the homeless, and Municipality workers according to the standard protocol.
