Shika Aravind is an Indian Politician from the Southern Indian State of Telangana. He serves as the OBC Chairman of the Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri District from the Congress Party.

Early Life:-

On the 10th of June 1984, Aravind was born to the couple Mr Shika Bikshapathi and resided at Mallapur Village in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri District in the Indian State of Telangana.

He studied at the Board of Secondary Education in Zill Parishad High School located at Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri in 2000.

Business:-

After completing his education, Aravind decided to take up his family’s responsibilities. He started his own real estate business in 2015.

Aravind entered politics through the Congress Party while continuing his business.

Telangana Movement:-

Aravind actively participated in dharnas, dikshas and rallies held under the leadership of Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy and Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy in the Telangana movement from 2009-2014.

At that movement, he took the lead in all the activities of the cooking warp program, Sakal Janula Samme, Telangana March, Chalo Assembly, and Core Committee Meeting.

A Career in Politics:-

After joining the Congress party, Aravind started serving the people as a party Activist.

Aravind, through his party, is working for the development of the village by providing the necessary help to the people and his town.

With that encouragement, Aravind’s mother became a Ward Member in 2015.

Aravind and his mother stood by his ward’s people as a ward member.

In 2022, contested unanimously with the support of Birla Ilaiah and was selected as the OBC Chairman of the Congress Party.

Activities Performed by Shika Aravind:-

• During the 2009 MLA elections, Bhudida Bhikshamayya campaigned for Goud in Alair Constancy.
• In 2009, for the election campaign, he was a mobilized activist and campaigned for a Rajapet, Turkapalli, Bommala Ramaram and Yadagirigutta Mandal in a month of nearby villages.
• He helped the youth to join the party by conducting awareness programs during the elections.
• On behalf of the party, the program from the Central will be organized in advance and completed successfully.
• In 2010, Aravind fielded his party’s candidate in the elections and worked hard to win as Sarpanch of his village twice.
• The Bharat Jodo Yatra movement was organized in the Alair and Yadagirigutta areas under the encouragement of Birla Ilaiah. Hundreds of people joined the movement along with Congress leaders.
• This campaign seeks to address rampant unemployment & inflation, hate and divisive politics and over-centralization of our political system.
• From 2019-2020, he helped to who were suffering due to the Corona epidemic helping people.
• As the OBC chairman, he organized OBC meetings in Yadagirigutta Mandal.
• AICC OBC National Chairman was called as the chief guest for the OBC meeting held near Gandhi Bhavan. And Arvind also participated in that meeting.
• He took 100 farmers with him to the Rythu Sangharshana Sabha held in Warangal and participated in the meeting.
• In 2021, he attended the Dalit Atma Gaurav Sabha under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, along with 200 Congress party leaders.
• Participated in Rythu Wara Deeksha held at Indira Park.
• As part of the Bharat Bandh programme, he stopped the buses and organised dharnas, and he protested.
• As part of the Bharat Bandh programme, he was arrested by the police.

Social Activities:-

• He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Aravind primarily focused on problems affecting students, such as fee reimbursement and scholarship disbursements, and worked effectively to ensure that scholarships were granted to students as soon as possible.
• By notifying the issues in the village, he solved many problems and gave Pensions like -Widow Pensions,old-age pensions, and Handicapped Pensions, and dispensed White Ration Cards to the town.
• Many social and welfare activities have been performed through the foundation for the needy and poor with a Motto to serve the People.
• On the Birth Anniversaries of Political Leaders, Aravind celebrates the occasion by organising a Blood donation camp and conducting an Annadanam program at his Locality.

Pandemic Activities:-

• The pandemic had a devastating effect on people’s life. During the Covid crisis, it was challenging for regular people to stay alive.
• Aravind was a responsible leader who maintained to contribute even when the situation was terrible.
• During the Pandemic Period, he handed out fruits, meal packets, and water bottles to the people living by the roadsides. In addition, he provided free blankets to those individuals. He donated monetarily to the cause and provided the migrants with food and rice bags.
• During the Corona crisis, the Annadhanam program was made available to front-line workers, including police officers, municipal employees, and emergency personnel.
• To combat the spread of the pandemic in Corona, he has organised an awareness campaign focusing on the need to keep a safe distance from infected individuals and use appropriate safety precautions.
• He offered sufferers of the covid virus financial assistance and the provision of vitamin pills, masks, and sanitisers.
• Even after the second wave of the covid infection, Aravind continued to put his efforts into helping other individuals.
• The residents of the village, as well as others who were in need, received vegetables and fruits from him. The Covid-19 vaccination and the consequences of the virus were the subjects of awareness campaigns at camps and seminars.
• The region contaminated with the coronavirus has been designated as a red zone, and residents have been informed of the necessary safety measures and precautions to take.
