Sheelam Raju

Sheelam Raju is the District Vice-President of Rajanna Sircilla from the BJP.

He was born on 05th June 1979 to Sheelam Narayana and Anjamma. He studied SSC Standard at ZP High School at Gudem.

In 1994, Raju started his political career by entering the  Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) and worked as an Active Member by discharging his duties for the development of the Party.

In the year of 2006, He appointed as the Kisan Morcha District Executive of Karimnagar District of Telangana and served up to 2010.

During MPTC Elections, He contested as MPTC from the BJP but due to some unavoidable reasons, he defeated for the respective position. In the year 2010, Raju was elected as District Executive of Rajanna Sircilla from the BJP.

In 2017, Raju worked as District Spokesperson for the party of BJP to the Rajanna Sircilla District and served up to 2019.

In 2020, He becomes District Vice-President of Rajanna Sircilla from the BJP. Since then he has been serving in the same position with a code of conduct by resolving the issues of the people.

Party Activities

• He worked as a Party Activist involves in every party activity that took part in Rally, Rasta Rocos, Dharnas, Bandhs, Election Campaign.
• He accompanied many Mandal levels and District level Committee meetings in the SangaSiddu Ravan for the recognition of the Party.
• Raju played a key role in Rajanna Siricilla District Sadhana also conducted Padayatra(Foot March) from Siricilla to Vemulawada as part of the Rajanna Siricilla District Sadhana.
• During Telangana Movement, Raju played an active role and fought for the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh and to form the Telangana as a separate State and he lent great support to the Telangana Statehood Movement by providing intellectual support.
• On the auspicious of the Movement, Raju went on Hunger Strike(Nirahara Dhiksha) for Three Days to form a Telangana as a separate State.
• He struggled to ensure that the water coming from the Eguva Maneru Dam would supply water to the crop fields in the Siricilla district.
• In Adwani Bus Trip, Raju played a key role and participates in the 1 vote-11 states Program.
• During GHMC Elections and Dubbak by-elections, Raju actively participated in Door-to-Door Election Campaign in the Goshamahal constituency and worked hard to bring more voters to won the party in the elections.

Social Activities

• Raju also involves in Social Activities. He organized and has performed many social activities in the village such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children.
• Ravi fought for the issue of purified drinking water to the village people.
• He financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
• Raju fight over every issue raised in the town and persistently worked to solve the issues and fought for the issues related to Handicapped Pensions, Widow Pension, Old age Pension and also the problems of Ration Card and Health card of the villagers.
• He distributed food, clothing, and Bedsheets to the Orphan Children and provided fruits, Meals to the homes of the old age by donating a certain amount whenever required.
• Raju is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.
• He conducts Cultural activities in the school during national festivals and distributes Bags, Books, and other stationery items to the school students.
• On focusing the improvement in cleanliness and hygiene in urban and rural areas, in workplaces and homes, Raju Conducted Swachh Bharat Program on the saying of One step towards cleanliness.
• As a part of environmental protection, Raju has taken an active role by participating in the Haritha Haram Program and cast the plants in the village.
• As LRS is the main disadvantage of downsides section as usual relaxation on that fees if the regulation process fails in case. The middle-class people who applied for LRS may not get a money refund. In that case, Raju stood up for them and he involved in dharnas and rallies to inhibit the LRS (Layout registration scheme).
• Raju played a key role in establishing a grain purchasing center in the village for the welfare of villagers.
• He distributed food, clothing, and Bedsheets to the Orphan Children and provided fruits, Meals to the homes of the old age by donating a certain amount whenever required in association with the Ramakanth Mitra Mandali Organization.
• Raju is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.
• He conducts Cultural activities in the school during national festivals and distributes Bags, Books, and other stationery items to the school students.
• Raju performed many development programs related to Party, Village, and Society.
• He organized and has performed many social activities in the village such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, Raju will be at the forefront of the problem.
  

  Service in Pandemic Covid-19

• Raju came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers,  needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• Raju came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
