Shariff Mohammed Ahmed

Shariff Mohammed Ahmed is a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) elected by MLA’s. He was born on 01-01-1955 to Mohammed Khasim Shariff and Hazarunnisa Begum.

He completed his Graduation with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sri Y.N College at Narasapuram. He completed the Master of Commerce in 1978 and LLB in 1979 from Bhopal University. He has Business. Shariff married Noorunnisa Begum.

He started his political journey with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). He held various positions in the party including National General Secretary. Shariff was appointed as a Member of the Legislative Council(MLC) by MLA’s from 2015-2021.

In 2017. He served as the Government Whip in the Council, AP. He was elected as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council on 07-02-2019.
