Shankar Javvaji

Shankar Javvaji is the Mandal President of Mala Mahanadu from Mallial, Jagtial district, and TRS Mandal Leader.

Born and Education:

He was born on 07-June-1977 to the couple Rajaiah and Laxmi in Myadampally.

In 1992, Shankar completed his schooling at TSW Residential school, located at Medipally, and received his Intermediate from SKNR junior college, Jagtial. In 1996, Shankar attained his Graduation from SKNR degree college, Jagtial.

Political Career:

In 1994, Shankar entered into Politics through Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) and started fought on Student issues. He switches over Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) in 2004.

In 2016, Shankar was selected as Mandal SC Cell President from Mallial. He has participated in many movements for the achievement of the state of Telangana.

He was appointed and served as Mandal General Secretary from the TRS party in 2018. Shankar was promoted as TRS Mandal Leader in recognition of his hard work and a strong commitment to the party’s welfare.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February- 2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Shankar played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao, and took part in Hunger Strikes, Rally, Protest Programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies, as a part of Telangana Movement.

Mala Mahanadu Movement:

Pothula Vigneswara Rao spearheaded the Dalit Mala Mahanadu movement in Andhra Pradesh to fight against the categorization of Scheduled Castes into A, B, C, D groups. The Mala Mahanadu’s fight against the classification of SCs began in 1997. on Friday 07-November-2004 unanimously decided in the E V Chinnaiah vs State of A P case that such a micro-classification of scheduled castes into sub-groups was unconstitutional. 

In 2020, Shankar joined the Mala Mahanadu he was always been a fighter over Madiga’s, Mala’s rights. Shankar’s concern for the rights of the Malas and their recognition in society led him to elect him as the Mandal President of the Malamahanadu.

State President Reddy Shekhar has issued orders appointing Javvaji Shankar as the District Chairman of the Right to Information Protection Committee. Shankar said the RTI Act would be passed on to the general public at the field level. He expressed special thanks to the state president who supported his appointment.

Recent Activities:

• Mala Mahanadu president Shankar said it was painful to remove the Poole and Ambedkar texts in the Telangana Inter Board Intermediate. On this occasion, he said that he had questioned why their pots had to be removed. Shankar demanded that the siege of the Inter-Board office, which was protesting against the discrimination against Dalits, be successful.
• President of the Mala Mahanadu Zone Shankar said “We strongly condemn the attack on the accused who attacked the” palace of Ambedkar’s residence in Mumbai and strongly condemn the attack. Leaders Lachchaiya and Ramesh demanded that the thugs be severely punished.
• At the Mandala Center, TRS leaders celebrated PV Narsimha Rao’s Jayanthi. Leaders on the occasion said that PV Narsimha Rao, a multi-talented man, was proud to be a native of our district. Congress zone president Lakshmareddy, Mala Mahanadu zone presidents Shankar and Sarpanch Harish participated in the program.
• In protest of MLA Ramana’s remarks on TRS chief KCR, his Dishti statue was burnt at Jagitya’s old bus stand under the auspices of the party. The event was attended by TRS leaders, Javvaji Shankar, Chinthala Gangadhar, and others.
• TRS leaders held Rastaroko under the leadership of town TRS leader Oruganti Ramanarao demanded that TRS politburo member Cheruku Sudhakar be remanded in custody for 12 months and that the release of Jeevo be canceled and the illegal cases dropped immediately.

Social Service:

-Being a Mandal President Shankar has performed many developmental programs and social activities for the welfare of the people.

-He has introduced new techniques for village development.

-He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village on the occasion of CM Kalvakuntla Chandra Shekar’s, IT Minister KTR’s birthday every year.

-Gave financial support for poor people for their marriage.

-As a part of environmental protection, he has taken an active role by participating in the Haritha Haram Program and cast the plants in the village.

-He provided stationery items to the school children and encouraged them to score a good by conducting awareness programs on Education.

-He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.

-He helped the death-affected family in the village by providing the basic necessities to them for survival.

-Every year he celebrates the death and birth anniversaries of Freedom Fighters by providing food, clothes to the poor and orphan people.

 Pandemic Services:

-The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected millions of people. People are very embarrassed due to lack of employment.

-Shankar conducted a Corona Virus awareness program and provided specific precautions to avoid the dreadful virus.

-He distributed Essentials, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people.

-For families who do not even have the essentials to eat at home for the poor family, in the corona infected quarantine along with the corona tablets for them, all the members of the party volunteered to come forward and help each member of the household with a daily supply of essentials directly to their home.

-Organized Annadhanam program for the migrant workers, road siders who can’t survive during the pandemic.

-To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.

-During the second wave he organized the free food service and satisfies the hunger of many people.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.
