Shanagala Srinivas

Shanagala Srinivas is an Indian politician and current CPI Party Activist from Ramagundam, Peddapalli district, Telangana state.
Early Life and Education:
He was born on 08th August 1982 in Ramagundam. His parents were Gangaiah and Susheela.
In 1996, Srinivas obtained his Board of Secondary Education at Little Flower high school, located at Godhavarikhani. From 1996-to 1998, he earned his ITI in the stream of Fitter at Ramagundam.
A career in Politics:
Srinivas officially entered into Politics and started his Political Career as a Member of the Communist Party of India(CPI) and took party responsibilities.
He was always been a fighter on Worker’s issues. Srinivas and CPI leaders will hold dharnas and rallies on contract workers, Singareni workers, workers working in government areas, Asha workers, Anganwadi teachers, and fight till justice is done to them.
He is a Member of the All India Trade Union Congress(AITUC). The All India Trade Union Congress(AITUC) is the oldest trade union federation in India. It is associated with the Communist Party of India. According to provisional statistics from the Ministry of Labour, AITUC had a membership of 14.2 million in 2013. It was founded on 31 October 1920 with Lala Lajpat Rai as its first president.
Due to his active involvement, the party officials appointed him as AITUC City Secretary in the belief that he would continue his services. On the occasion of his appointment as City Secretary, Srinivas said that he would work to the best of his ability with the aim of AITUC’s victory and swore that he would move forward with the aim of the party’s welfare. He extended his heartiest thanks to the party officials for electing him.
AITUC City Secretary Srinivas said that the KCR government, which was supposed to protect workers, was committing labor exploitation in various government departments, stipulating that our country’s labor laws were equal pay for equal work. He said that if KCR calls Telangana for self-governance, then the entire Telangana community has fought unitedly and achieved Telangana. So far at least contract workers have not been made permanent. He said contract workers working in the vacancies created by retirement should still be made permanent.
Activities Performed by Srinivas being CPI Party Leader:
- Srinivas also served as a Social Activist. He assisted the Ramagundam people irrespective of time.
- He conducts awareness of voting by telling that Exercising the right to vote is one of the most important duties of a citizen in a democracy. He motivates people by saying such things
- The CPI leaders staged large-scale dharnas and rastarokos against the injustice being done to the people.
- He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying CC Roads, Digging Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
- As a part of Environment, Protection Srinivas planted casts on the premises of Ramagundam.
- Srinivas and CPI leaders have demanded that the government reduce petrol and diesel prices.
- He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
- Wet and dry garbages were distributed and gave awareness on how to use them.
- Srinivas informed the villagers about the dangers of plastic use and prohibited its use in the village.
- He educated the villagers on current technology and how to use smartphones.
- Srinivas demanded that the government issue notifications quickly and protect the unemployed from suicide.
Srinivas ’s Contribution during the Pandemic-
–Srinivas rendered his service even during the Covid Crisis. He gave his helping hand to the public as being CPI leader.
-He provided financial and humanitarian support to those who were impacted by the lockdown during the first and second waves of Corona. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people who were in distress and offering further assistance to those who were harmed by the locking down.
-He came forward to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by distributing food and rice.
-An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distance and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
-When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
-The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea order to increase awareness among the general population about the need of acquiring a free corona vaccination.
