Mohammed Yosuf Basha strongly believed that education gives clarity to leadership. In 2005, he completed his schooling at Radhakrishna High School, Sri Sai Nagar of Sainikpuri, and later pursued Intermediate at Government Junior College at Neredmet in 2007.

Professional Career of Shaik Mohammed Yosuf Basha

Service as Defence Clerk in Army Canteen (2009–2022)
From 2009 to 2022, Mohammed Yosuf Basha served as a Defence Clerk in the URC under the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area of the Indian Army. In this responsible position, he handled administrative and operational duties with discipline and integrity, balancing his professional commitments with his growing political engagement.

Entry into the Indian National Congress Party (2005–2006)

In 2005–2006, Mohammed Yosuf Basha formally entered active politics by joining the Indian National Congress (INC). He took this step under the guidance and direction of the then AICC Telangana President and Senior Minister. This marked the beginning of his organised political involvement and commitment to the party’s ideology and organisational work at the grassroots level.

Dedicated Service as a Congress Party Activist (2006–2012)
Between 2006 and 2012, Mohammed Yosuf Basha worked diligently as a committed Congress Party activist. Support in Neredmet Corporator Elections (2006–2012)
During 2006-12 Mohammed Yosuf Basha played an active role in the Neredmet G.K. Colony Corporator elections. He worked extensively for the successful candidature of Mariamma Chacko, who secured victory in both Division 167 and Division 166. His contribution reflected his growing ability to mobilise support and manage election campaigns effectively at the local level.

Role in the 2014 Assembly Elections
In the 2014 elections, Mohammed Yosuf Basha actively supported the Congress candidate Shri Akula Rajender in the Malkajgiri Assembly constituency. His involvement in the campaign contributed to organisational strength and voter outreach. Shri. Akula Rajender emerged victorious in the election, marking a significant achievement for the party in the region.

Participation in the 2020 GHMC Elections
In 2020, Mohammed Yosuf Basha extended his support during the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections in Vinayaka Nagar. Appointment as Election In-Charge for Vinayaka Nagar (2020)
Recognising his organisational capabilities, the party entrusted Basha with the responsibility of Election In-Charge for Vinayaka Nagar during the 2020 GHMC elections. Association with Shri. Anumula Revanth Reddy (2020–2022)
Between 2020 and 2022, Mohammed Yosuf Basha worked closely with the then Pradesh Congress Committee President, Shri Anumula Revanth Reddy. Election as Corporator from Division 137, Vinayaka Nagar  (Since 3 May 2025)

On 3 May 2025, Mohammed Yosuf Basha was elected as the Corporator from Division 137, Vinayaka Nagar. Participation in Telangana Movement: Shaga Chandra Shekar Reddy’s Commitment

• Facilitating Developmental Projects in Malkajgiri Constituency
  Mohammed Yosuf Basha has played a constructive role in getting various developmental projects sanctioned at the Malkajgiri Constituency level. His persistent follow-up and coordination with concerned officials have helped bring necessary infrastructure and welfare schemes to the area, reflecting his commitment to tangible progress for the people.
• Educational Support for the Underprivileged
  Shaik Mohammed Yosuf Basha has extended meaningful assistance to poor students by providing educational help.   In one notable instance, a resident from Masjid Line in Vinayaka Nagar, who was working in Patna, Bihar, passed away due to health reasons. When the family was unable to bear the cost of transporting the body back home, Shaik Mohammed Yosuf Basha arranged and paid approximately Rp. 90,000 for an ambulance. This act of compassion ensured that the deceased could be brought back to Vinayaka Nagar, Malkajgiri, with dignity.
• Financial Support for Marriages of the Poor
  He has extended financial assistance to poor families for performing marriages. By offering timely help, he has enabled several underprivileged households to conduct these important family ceremonies without falling into severe financial distress.
• Medical Assistance for a Child Injured in a Fire Accident
  When a three-year-old child suffered injuries in a fire accident and was admitted to Rainbow Hospital, Basha stepped forward to clear the medical bills. His prompt financial support provided much-needed relief to the family during a moment of severe crisis and emotional hardship.
• Distribution under Sewing Machine in Vinayaka Nagar
  In Vinayaka Nagar Division, he took an active part in the distribution of materials under the Kuttu Mission. Approximately 200 kits were distributed in each division, ensuring that the benefits of the programme reached a large number of deserving families in a transparent and organised manner.

  He has been actively working across all divisions of the Malkajgiri area to resolve everyday civic problems faced by residents. Special attention has been given to issues related to roads, drainage systems, and general sanitation.
