Senapathi Soma Sekhar Naidu’s political path did not start with titles or fame. It originated from genuine emotion, strong principles, and a heartfelt bond with the people of Visakhapatnam. Today, he stands as a respected and well-known political leader in Andhra Pradesh, deeply committed to the Janasena Party (JSP).

Early Beginnings in Visakhapatnam

Soma Sekhar Naidu was born into an agricultural family on February 26, 1987, in the culturally rich village of Chinnamushidiwada, located in the Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh.

He is the younger son of Shri Senapathi Leeladhara Rao and Smt. Senapathi Rama Lakshmi, bringing dedicated leadership and development initiatives to the local community.

His grandfather, Shri Senapathi Demudu, who held the position of Sarpanch of Chinnamushidivada Panchayat, instilled in him from childhood a strong sense of public duty by accompanying him to community programmes and the inauguration of new village infrastructure projects. Under the influence of parents deeply engaged in grassroots governance and public service, Soma Sekhar Naidu developed a lasting commitment to civic responsibility and a progressive outlook toward societal development.

Educational Voyage & Academic Journey

Soma Sekhar Naidu began his academic journey with dedication at Rama Krishna Residential Public School in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where he completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2004. He pursued his Intermediate education at the reputed Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Visakhapatnam in 2006. Driven by a passion for engineering and infrastructure development, he went on to complete his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from GMIRIT Engineering College, Rajam, Srikakulam in 2010.

Further advancing his expertise, Soma Sekhar Naidu completed his Master of Engineering (M.E.) with a specialization in Structural Engineering in 2012. His consistent academic excellence and pursuit of higher studies reflect his strong commitment to learning and professional growth in the field of engineering.

Professional Journey – From Structural Designer to Visionary Entrepreneur

After completing his education, Soma Sekhar Naidu embarked on his professional journey with a strong focus on structural engineering. Leveraging his academic expertise, he began his career as a Structural Designer, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in designing robust and innovative structures. His technical proficiency and attention to detail quickly earned him recognition in the field.

Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to create a lasting impact, he founded Desire 2 Design Engineers OPC Pvt Ltd and took on the role of Managing Director. Under his dynamic leadership, the company has grown into a reputed firm known for delivering high-quality engineering solutions. He expanded D2D Engineers in Tier 2 Cities and Tier 3 Cities to give quality engineering services for remote areas and now expanded to 10+ branches across Andhra and Telangana. His professional journey reflects a perfect blend of technical excellence, innovation, and visionary business acumen.

Establishing Political Roots: Aligning with Janasena (2018)

Driven by a strong desire to contribute to meaningful social change, Mr. Soma Sekhar Naidu began actively supporting and traveling with the Jana Sena Party under the leadership of Shri Pawan Kalyan during the Porata Yatra. Despite the numerous challenges that arose during the election period, he made a significant and heartfelt decision to fully commit himself to the Jana Sena Party in 2018. Deeply inspired by the visionary leadership and ideology of Honourable Shri Pawan Kalyan, he found a strong alignment with the party’s core principles of people-centric governance and transformative change.

Active Role in the 2019 Assembly Elections

In 2019, Soma Sekhar Naidu actively participated in the Assembly elections by supporting the Jana Sena Party candidate. During this period, he also established a party office in the 97th Ward (formerly the 70th Ward), strengthening the party’s grassroots presence in the area.

• Organizing Campaign Events and Booth-Level Work in 2019

In 2019, Soma Sekhar Naidu organized a bike rally and a public meeting at Pendurthi Junction in honour of the visit of Jana Sena Party President Shri Pawan Kalyan. He actively coordinated the arrangements for the programme and ensured smooth participation of party supporters. In addition, he diligently carried out booth-level agent responsibilities during the Assembly elections, contributing to grassroots election management.

• Participation in Post-Election Celebrations

Following the elections, Soma Sekhar Naidu took part in the birthday celebrations of Jana Sena Party President Shri Pawan Kalyan. The event was held at Mallunaidpalem village and was attended by party workers and supporters. His presence reflected continued commitment and active association with the party leadership beyond the electoral period.

• Organising the Sand March for Construction Workers in 2021

In 2021, Soma Sekhar Naidu organised a rally and sand march in the Pendurthi Constituency, focusing on the 97th Ward, to highlight the concerns of construction workers. The programme was conducted across various locations and was held in association with State General Secretary Shri Tammireddy Shiva Shankar.His efforts demonstrated strong grassroots mobilisation and active support for workers’ welfare within the party.

• Humanitarian Service During the COVID-19 Pandemic (2020)
  In 2020, Soma Sekhar Naidu actively extended support to COVID-19 victims in the 97th Ward. He arranged and distributed oxygen cylinders to those in critical need and provided daily ration kits to more than 10,000 people. His timely efforts brought essential relief to the local community during a period of severe hardship.
• Conducting Atmiya Sabha and Party Outreach (2022)

In 2022, Soma Sekhar Naidu organised an Atmiya Sabha at Sabbavaram in association with Jana Sena Party State General Secretary Shri Thamireddy Shiva Shankar. The meeting served as an important platform to interact with party workers and supporters. Through this initiative, he actively contributed to spreading the ideology and vision of the Jana Sena Party at the grassroots level.

  In the 97th Ward, when residents of Veeranagar and Baddananagar areas brought to light the pressing problems related to roads, drainage, and electricity supply, 97th Ward President Shri Senapathi Soma Sekhar Naidu promptly responded. He personally visited these localities and inspected the issues firsthand, showing genuine concern for the difficulties faced by the people. His proactive approach in addressing local civic problems reflects his commitment to resolving ground-level issues and improving the living conditions of residents in the ward.
• Inspection of Development Works at Sri Bangaramma Temple Area
  On 10th June 2026, when residents of Naravanipalem in the 97th Ward requested an inspection of the ongoing development works on the approach road to Sri Bangaramma Temple, 97th Ward President Senapathi Soma Sekhar Naidu promptly responded. He personally visited the site and thoroughly reviewed the progress of the development activities. His proactive approach in addressing public concerns and ensuring timely infrastructure development reflects his commitment to improving the living conditions and accessibility in the ward.
• Felicitation of Active Janasena Party Members
  Shri Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, Janasena Party United Visakhapatnam Rural District President and Pendurthi MLA, felicitated the active and outstanding members who showed remarkable performance in the Janasena Party membership drive in Pendurthi Constituency.
  He personally honored Senapathi Soma Sekhar for his enthusiastic contribution and hard work in strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
• NTR Bharosa Pension Distribution in 97th Ward
  Shri Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, Janasena Party United Visakhapatnam Rural District President and Pendurthi MLA, participated in the NTR Bharosa Pension distribution program held at the old Panchayat Office in Chinnamusidivada, 97th Ward. He personally handed over the pensions to eligible beneficiaries and informed them about the new facility allowing spouse category pensioners to start receiving pensions from the month following the demise of their husband.
• Ward Inspection Tour in 97th Division
  Shri Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, Janasena Party United Visakhapatnam Rural District President and Pendurthi MLA, along with 97th Ward President Shri Senapathi Soma Sekhar, conducted a detailed ward inspection tour in the 97th Division. Accompanied by Corporator Smt. Vasantha Shankar Rao and Zonal officials, they visited areas including Chinnamusidivada, Shrama Shakti Nagar 6th Layout, Gayatri Matha Temple Road, Bangaramma Colony, Ashok Nagar, Sai Nagar, Satya Nagar, and the Old Village Paradesi Ammavari Temple area.
  During the visit, they closely observed key issues related to drainage, roads, culverts, parks, and UGD systems. Shri Ramesh Babu assured the residents that all identified problems would be addressed on priority and resolved at the earliest.
• Protest Against Mummana Demudu’ s Entry into BJP
  Leaders of the alliance parties staged a strong protest against Mummana Demudu’ s entry into the BJP at the Kalyana Mandapam in Sujatha Nagar. Holding placards, they expressed their strong opposition to his joining the party. Speaking on the occasion, 97th Ward Janasena President Senapathi Soma Sekhar Naidu highlighted several land encroachment cases against Mummana Demudu and explained the details with survey numbers, raising serious concerns over his political move.
• Participation in Good Governance Program in 96th Ward
  Shri Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, Pendurthi MLA, along with 97th Ward President Senapathi Soma Sekhar Naidu, actively participated in the “Idi Manchi Prabhutvam” (Good Governance) program held in the 96th Ward.
