Sake Govindu

Sake Govindu is an Indian politician, serving as RPI(A) District President and State President of Ambedkar Aasaya Porata Samithi.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Govindu was born on June 06, 1983, in the place of Gajarampalli, to a couple named Venkataiah and Balamma.

In 2004, He acquired his Secondary Board of Education at TC Govt High School located at Pamidi and Studied Intermediate from Govt Junior College in the year 2006.

Later in 2009, He Obtained a Bachelor’s degree at Kadaikodi Chennai’s Alagappa University and followed his master’s from Srivani Management Science, Anantapur from 2009-2011.

Govindu obtained a Diploma in National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) in 2016 from Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and next undertook his Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching in 2018 at Uttar Pradesh’s Goliyan, Laxmi Bhai National Institute of Physical Education.

CAREER IN ORGANIZATION

He began his service career by being an SC-ST Ikya Vedika District President of Anantapur by contributing to the betterment of society, working relentlessly for the welfare of the Backward Classes, and giving desperate service to society.

With the sole idea of helping the poor in all possible ways, Govindu founded the Ambedkar Aasaya Porata Samithi in 2016, a non-governmental organization aimed at meeting the needs of Dalits, and fighting for extensive economic and social rights for women.

Since the organization’s inception, Mr. Govindu, in his role as Founder & State President, has been involved in a wide of social activities with the support of his Team.

The vision of the organization is to abolish the caste differences among people and to lift the socio-economically weaker sections of society. Since its establishment, the Foundation has provided opportunities for the underprivileged to earn a living and has mentored hundreds of people.

Govindu is genuinely enthusiastic about Society and takes active participation in all of its activities as a Social Activist and performs out his obligations following a code of conduct and for the betterment of the society’s reputation.

Virtually from the day he started the organization until now, he has been committing all of his effort and resources to the people, living a satisfying life of public service, and briefly describing and obeying its rules and regulations for the benefit of the society and the welfare of the people.

CAREER IN POLITICS

In 2012, Govindu debuted into active politics through the Republican Party of India (often called RPI(A)) is a political party in India. The party is a splinter group of the Republican Party of India and has its roots in the Scheduled Castes Federation led by B. R. Ambedkar.

He has been a Party Activist from the day he joined the party, working all day for the party’s growth by attending every scheduled meeting.

For his impressive performance during his services, Govindu was designated as the District President of Anantapur to serve the people in all ways by working thoroughly all the time for the benefit of humanity, citing code of conduct and disciplinary concerns since 2012.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Govindu as a Sportsperson performs his duties, attends regular practice sessions, and undertakes private training to maintain the required standard of fitness.

He takes part in scheduled sporting competitions and alters the sporting equipment and takes into account the sports promotional activities that benefit the Students which results in the expansion of his Work.

Govindu’s effort and passion have earned him several medals, awards, and accolades during the last few years in sports.

-In 2003: He was a state second player (silver medalist) in the sport of Judo, which is extensively played in India and has a large following. Judo means ‘The gentle way’. It is a defensive, a spectator sport, and also a competitive sport.

-In 2004: Tug of war (also known as rope war or tugging war) is a sport in which two teams compete against one other in a strength test by pulling on opposite ends of a rope to bring the rope a specific distance in one direction against the rival team’s pull.

In the tug of war sport, he has earned a National Gold Medal and was a State-Level Kabaddi player at the time.

-In 2004: In the tug of war, Govindu achieved a sub-junior national gold medal.

-In 2005: He competed in the Olympic sport of tug of war under the age of 19 and was awarded a bronze medal at the national level.

-In 2006: During the Thaikwando Tournament, Vindu was awarded the South India Medal in the 58th category.

-In 2007: He took part in the Nepal series and was named the winner of the competition.

-In 2008: He battled in the Nepal series and finished as the runner-up in the championship.

-In 2009: He was recognized as the All-India University Judo Player in the Punjab Tournaments.

-In 2010: He became a Judo National player where he was praised for his outstanding abilities and tactics.

-In 2011: Govindu, who represented Andhra Pradesh, won the Tug of War champion cup during the India-Nepal Series.

-In 2016: At the national level, he won a bronze medal in the Olympic event of tug of war, which was hosted at Pondicherry.

-In 2016: He achieved a National Wrestling Player. Wrestling is a single sport in which the goal is to “pin” the opponent or win on points by using a variety of tactics.

ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN RECENTLY:

• He organized the Eye camp and medical camp in the village and donated blood for the needy people. He financially assisted the poor people in the village and helped them in all possible ways.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the village’s unhealthy students and needy people.
• Conducted Annadhanam Program, which is served and satisfied many hungry people in his village.
• Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially. He assisted the death-affected family financially for their survival.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, he will be at the forefront of the problem. He will assist those who come to him for help and provide the essential things that they require.
• He was involved in a 70 km padayatra which was held from Peddagudem to Anantapur demanding for Ambedkar Bhavan

DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES:

• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• For those studying for government examinations, we supplied Group 1 and Group 2 books, as well as RRB (Regional Rural Books) for banking exams. Distribution of Sports kits to the sportspersons during their tournaments.
• Every Year he celebrates Ambedkar’s Birth & Death anniversary and distributes sweets to the villagers, and also conducts Cultural and Traditional programs in the Schools.
• He accompanied many Mandal level party meetings in the town and also organized Party Membership Programs. Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party
• He has taken an active interest in environmental protection by participating in the Plantation Program and casting the plants in the hamlet.

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY THE PARTY:

• He is constantly being fought over the People’s problems and petitions are being handed over to the concerned authorities. During Elections, he actively participates in the Door-to-Door election campaign and worked hard to win the party in his locality.
• Party responsibilities and policies are explained to party activists and workers from time to time. Dharnas and Rasta Roko are convened in response to public injustices as well as on the dalit rights.
• As a party activist, he will be available to the people in the village at their difficult times.
• He played an active role and raised his voice to ensure welfare schemes for the poor people and helped them to survive their lives.

DURING THE PANDEMIC, SERVICES WERE PROVIDED:

• He came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed Rice bags, vegetables to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and follow precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic of Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the Covid period and looked after the people. He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
