Chitipolu SaiZen Shekar was born on 4th February 1977 in Nacharam Village, of Ghatkesar mandal in Medchal-Malkajgiri District, Telangana, to Mr. Chitipolu Maryana and Mrs. Chitipolu Shankaramma.

He completed his Secondary Board of Education at Modern High School in Musheerabad in 1992. Later, he pursued his Intermediate at S.V.S Junior College in Vidhya Nagar and his B.Com Degree at Kamaraju University in Madurai.

In 1999, SaiZen Shekar founded SaiZen Gym in Nacharam to foster physical fitness and enhance individuals’ well-being. The gym likely provided diverse facilities, such as cardiovascular machines, strength training equipment, free weights, and other fitness accessories, to cater to its members’ varied fitness requirements and preferences.

SaiZen Shekar set up a SaiZen Golds Gym in Habsiguda in 2002, showcasing his dedication to community fitness and wellness. The gym offers a complete fitness experience with exercise equipment, classes, personal training, and more.

Saizen Shekhar commenced his political journey in 2004 under the guidance and leadership of Bandari Lakshma Reddy(BLR). The encouragement and motivation bestowed upon Saizen Shekhar by Bandari Lakshma Reddy have played a pivotal role in driving him forward in politics.

Despite encountering numerous challenges and fluctuations in the political landscape, Saizen Shekhar remains resolute in his commitment to serving the people. He has remained constant in his words of rendering dedicated service to the populace from that time until the present day, steadfastly aligned with the principles upheld by BLR.

A Career in Politics

SaiZen Shekar commenced his political journey in 2004 by joining the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), which serves as the student wing of the Indian National Congress (INC), commonly known as the Congress Party. Motivated by his deep passion for politics and his aspiration to fulfill the political aspirations of the populace, SaiZen Shekar aimed to address societal conflicts and provide modest service to the community.

In 2006, SaiZen Shekar’s exceptional work and humble approach towards fostering the growth and welfare of the people were acknowledged, leading to his appointment as an Youth Congress District General Secretary for Rangareddy. This role allowed him to extend his services to those seeking his assistance, consistently endeavoring to meet the diverse needs of people.

In recognition of his exceptional leadership skills and unwavering dedication to the party, SaiZen Shekar was entrusted with the esteemed position of GHMC Youth Congress General Secretary, Telangana, in 2008. Despite his youth and limited experience at the time, he eagerly embraced the challenge with zeal and passion, diligently undertaking the assigned responsibilities.

SaiZen Shekar remains unwavering in his dedication to upholding the faith placed in him by the people, as he persistently strives to serve their best interests. He steadfastly prioritizes the welfare of the community and actively engages in activities that propel the Party forward in its mission.

In the 2016 GHMC elections, the Congress party acknowledged SaiZen Shekar’s dedicated service to the public and nominated him as their candidate for the position of 4th Division Corporator in Nacharam. With the support of the party and the trust of the local people, SaiZen Shekar successfully secured the seat. His noteworthy achievement came as he emerged victorious, obtaining one of the two available corporator seats in that division.

Subsequent to his triumph, Bandari Lakshma Reddy provided invaluable support during the election campaign, contributing significantly to SaiZen Shekar’s victory and subsequent election to the Corporator position.

Contested Position:

During the 2009 elections, SaiZen Shekar participated as an independent candidate in the race for the position of 04th Division Corporator of Nacharam, and he garnered an impressive 30,433 votes. Despite his commendable performance, the opposition party secured the position with a slight margin in the voting percentage.

Telangana Joint Action Committee:

SaiZen Shekar, a Telangana Activist, has actively participated in the Telangana movement through his association with the Telangana JAC in Nacharam in 2009. Over the years, he has been involved in protests, strikes, and agitations in support of the cause.

As a Member of TJAC, SaiZen Shekar and his fellow activists have employed various strategies to garner attention for their cause, including hunger strikes, road blockades, the Million March, and rallies.

SaiZen Shekar has strived towards the goal to establish a separate state of Telangana. In 2014, the Government of India enacted the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, which led to the formation of the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This movement has had a profound impact on the political landscape of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and has underscored the necessity for greater regional autonomy and decentralization of power in India.

Positions and Responsibiliites in BRS:

SaiZen Shekar’s decision to join the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) which was formerly called as Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) on 14th September 2018, alongside Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, can be seen as a natural progression in his political journey, reflecting his commitment to village development.

In the presence of influential BRS party leader Bandari Lakshma Reddy(BLR), SaiZen Shekar was introduced by Telangana State Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandra Shekar Rao and joined the party under their leadership.

SaiZen Shekar has consistently fulfilled the public’s trust, serving with dedication and actively championing the welfare of the community as a GHMC Leader within the BRS Party. This responsibility aimed to emphasize the importance of comprehensive and effective development among the people while contributing to resolving the challenges they face.

6th Division Corporator, Nacharam, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Telangana, BRS.

Mrs. Shanti SaiZen Shekar is an Indian politician affiliated with the BRS Party and currently holds the position of 6th Division Corporator of Nacharam in Medchal-Malkajgiri, Telangana.

Personal Life:

Miss Shanthi graduated from Sri Hindu Degree College at ramannapet in 2022.  Mr. SaiZen Shekar and Miss Shanti were happily married in December 2002, with the blessings of their families. They have two children, Sahiti and Saidev, and reside in Nacharam.

Political Career:

Mrs. Shanti SaiZen Shekar began her political career in 2016 by joining the INC Party. Alongside Mr. SaiZen Shekar, she served the people of Nacharam, actively participating as a responsible leader in various development and welfare activities through the Party.

Subsequently, Mr. and Mrs. SaiZen Shekar switched to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Party in 2018. Their decision was influenced by the leadership and presence of Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandra Shekar Rao (KCR) and Bandari Lakshma Reddy (BLR), as they wished to continue their service through the BRS Party.

In the GHMC elections of 2020, Mrs. Shanti SaiZen Shekar contested as a 6th Division Corporator for Nacharam from the BRS Party, representing the Women Reservation Category.

Due to their active participation and contributions to development, the people of Nacharam elected Shanthi SaiZen as a Corporator for the 6th Division from the BRS Party, impressed with their dedication to the welfare of the area.

War against Mosquitoes- దోమలపై యుద్ధం సైజెన్ సిద్ధం

In Telangana State of Medchal Malkajgiri District, the Nacharam village has been grappling with a considerable mosquito infestation that substantially impacts the health and mortality of the residents in Nacharam.
Responding to this pressing issue, Mr. SaiZen Shekar undertook a commendable initiative during the 2016 elections, advocating for a concerted effort to combat mosquitoes under the slogan of “దోమలపై యుద్ధం సైజెన్ సిద్ధం.” Over four consecutive years, SaiZen Shekar persevered to curtail the mosquito menace in the region. His unwavering dedication to pursuing effective mosquito control results in the resilience and commitment of the people of Nacharam village.

GHMC Leader’s 5 Hours Dharna Highlights Rainfall Woes:

GHMC leader SaiZen Shekar held a dharna for five hours due to heavy rains in the city. Throughout this performance, he deliberately sat on the road amid rainwater to raise awareness and draw attention to the various issues arising from rainfall. Together with the party leaders, he protested that five crores should be allocated for bridge repairs and immediate action should be taken on Water Hyacinth Plant ( గుర్రపు డెక్క) removal in HMT Nagar and Patel Kunta pond.

SaiZen Shekar’s Seven Bridges Triumph in Nacharam Village:

SaiZen Shekar has exhibited dedication in addressing the predicaments faced by Nacharam village, which has been grappling with the consequences of heavy rainfall by observing that the incessant rains had led to the inundation of canals and subsequently the water entered the residential dwellings, the villagers encountered severe difficulties and also the proliferation of mosquitoes due to the water stagnation became a nuisance, exacerbating the problem further, as the drainage system also suffered blockages.

In response to this critical situation, SaiZen Shekar took the initiative to apprise the appropriate authorities of the pressing issues confronting the village. His concise and clear explanation of the prevailing hardships resulted in the allocation of essential funds from the government. As a result of these concerted efforts, a commendable total of seven bridges were constructed in Nacharam, alleviating the challenges faced by the villagers significantly. This accomplishment stands as yet another testament to SaiZen Shekar’s determination in bringing about positive change and fostering the well-being of the community.

Community Protests to Address the Issue of Gurrapu Dekka:

SaiZen Shekar, along with concerned residents and community members, organized protests in various localities namely Damala, Patel kunta, HMT Nagar, and Pedda Cheruvu to address the challenges raised by Gurrapu Dekka by raising awareness about the predicaments arising from Gurrapu Dekka by encompassing inadequate infrastructure, safety hazards, and inconveniences faced by people with the method of garnering attention from authorities and asserting their demands for necessary action involved directing rallies and protests.

Moreover, SaiZen Shekar and the supporting leaders made efforts to gather signatures from the Nacharam residents, effectively mobilizing widespread support to tackle the issues of Gurrapu Dekka and advocating for a resolution. As a significant outcome of the protest, authorities granted 90% of the required funds, marking a positive step towards enhancing infrastructure and addressing the conditions related to Gurrapu Dekka.

Diverting Sewage Water from Patel Kunta Cheruvu:

In Nacharam, SaiZen Shekar took a proactive step by initiating a crucial project aimed at diverting sewage water from Patel Kunta Cheruvu on removing the Gurrapu Dekka to improve the water quality and the water flow and preserve the lake’s ecological balance.

This initiative clearly reflected SaiZen Shekar and the community’s strong commitment towards environmental conservation and the well-being of Patel Kunta Cheruvu to reduce pollution by enhancing the overall health of the water through the diversion of sewage water in the ponds of Nacharam.

Driven Effort to Beautify HMT Nagar Lake in Nacharam

SaiZen Shekar desired to beautify Nacharam HMT Lake and fought for the beautification of HMT Nagar Lake. With the support of residents and community members, a mission was launched to beautify HMT Nagar Lake in Nacharam, aiming to preserve its natural beauty and resulted in a sanction of Rs 3.14 crore for the project. With these funds, various improvements were implemented around the lake. A walking track was built for leisurely walking, exercising, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Furthermore, lights were installed for people to enjoy the lake in the evening. These developments demonstrated the community’s collective commitment to SaiZen Shekar’s dedication. The new facilities encouraged a stronger connection with nature, promoted outdoor activities, and contributed to the overall well-being of the villagers.

Advancing the HMT Nagar Lake Sewage Treatment Plant:

1 Crore Rupees Allocated for Hindu Graveyard Transformation

• Mr. and Mrs. SaiZen Shekar had approached numerous leaders and had handed over petitions, seeking the transformation of the Hindu Graveyard into a large Vaikuntadamam. Their diligent efforts and unwavering determination resulted in the allocation of 1 crore rupees for the construction of a compound wall, road, and drainage works at the Hindu Graveyard. This financial provision was made to improve the infrastructure and amenities, catering to the needs of the community and ensuring a well-maintained and easily accessible environment.
• The construction of the compound wall served multiple purposes. It established a clear boundary for the graveyard, enhancing security and privacy for the premises. Moreover, it added a sense of organization and orderliness, giving the space a structured appearance. In addition to its functional benefits, the compound wall also contributed to the overall aesthetics of the graveyard, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere.

 SaiZen Shekar’s Remarkable Road Development Endeavor:

• SaiZen Shekar diligently endeavored to develop Nacharam village after observing the challenges faced by its residents due to inadequate infrastructure and poorly constructed roads. Recognizing the hazards and accidents arising from the disorderly roads, SaiZen Shekar approached the higher authorities and explained the prevailing issues in the village. They subsequently secured government funding and initiated the construction of concrete (CC) roads.
• SaiZen Shekar’s persistent determination significantly improved the safety of travel for the villagers. The upgraded roads facilitated smoother traffic flow, reduced congestion, and eased daily commuting and transportation. As a result of their unwavering efforts, 70 percent of the road projects were successfully completed back then. Consequently, the villagers enjoyed safer and more efficient road infrastructure, contributing to their overall well-being and enhancing the village’s prospects for the future.

Empowering Nacharam’s SC Colony:

SaiZen Shekar stepped forward to address the challenges encountered by the Scheduled Caste (SC) community residing in Nacharam village. He attentively listened to their grudges to understand their difficulties. Diligently, he attempted to establish well-maintained roads and street lights in the SC locality, thus ensuring safer and more accessible surroundings. Furthermore, he spearheaded the installation of water pipelines to clear water scarcity in the area. Additionally, he made influential efforts to facilitate education for students and extend support to families who had lost their loved ones in accidents. SaiZen Shekar’s committed initiatives significantly improved the SC community’s living conditions and prospects in Nacharam village.

Covid Activities:

• During the COVID-19 pandemic, SaiZen Shekar demonstrated his commitment to serving the community by providing groceries to those in need. He distributed groceries to approximately 6,000 families, with each family receiving 10.5 kilograms of essential food items.
• SaiZen Shekar initiated this effort to support vulnerable families who were adversely affected by the pandemic and facing financial difficulties or food insecurity. Through the provision of groceries, he alleviated some of the burdens faced by these families, ensuring they had access to essential food supplies during challenging times.
• He led fundraising efforts that successfully raised 60 lakh rupees to support various aspects of the pandemic response, including providing vaccines, medication, and awareness programs.
• Part of the funds were dedicated to organizing and conducting awareness programs, aimed at educating the public about preventive measures, vaccination benefits, and guidelines for maintaining personal hygiene and following safety protocols.
• Additionally, some funds were allocated to provide relief materials to individuals and families affected by the pandemic. These materials included essential supplies like food packets, hygiene kits, and other necessary items to support their well-being during challenging times.

Telangana Movement:

• SaiZen Shekar had actively participated in the Telangana movement, demonstrating his dedication to the cause of creating a separate state of Telangana in India. The movement, which lasted for several years, was characterized by widespread protests, demonstrations, and political advocacy aimed at achieving the goal of statehood for the region.
• During his involvement in the Telangana movement, SaiZen Shekar played a significant role in mobilizing support, raising awareness, and representing the grievances and aspirations of the people of Telangana. He engaged in various activities, including organizing rallies, participating in protests, and actively supporting the movement’s campaigns and initiatives.
• SaiZen Shekar collaborated with other activists, leaders, and organizations also engaged in the Telangana movement. Together, they worked to form a unified front and amplify the demand for a separate Telangana state. His contribution to these collective efforts helped bring about political change and address the historical and socio-economic disparities faced by the Telangana region.
• As a result of the combined efforts of the Telangana movement, the formation of the separate state of Telangana became a reality in 2014.
