S Abraham Madiga

Abraham is the Mahajana Socialist Party Activist and MRPS Constituency Incharge from Zaheerabad, Sangareddy district. He was born on 13th July 1989 to the couple Das and Sukamma in Zaheerabad.

Education Background:

In 2004, Abraham completed his schooling at Methodist Rural High School, located in Zaheerabad. He earned Intermediate from Sravanthi junior college in 2006. In 2009, Abraham attained his Graduation(Degree) from Govt degree college, Zaheerabad. He gets into higher education with his Master’s. Abraham attained his Post Graduation with MA(Economics) at Kakatiya University. Currently, he is pursuing his Bachelor of Law(LLB) in Karnataka.

A career in MRPS:

Abraham has been associated with the Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti(MRPS) since 2005.

Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti(MRPS) is a not-for-profit organization formed to demand the categorization of the SC reservation quota in Andhra Pradesh and states of India to ensure equitable distribution of state allocations for all the constituent Dalit castes, including the Madiga. It was formed under the leadership of Kalva Ravi Madiga in 1994 and is currently headed by Manda Krishna Madiga.

In 2005, Abraham was elected and worked as Town President of Zaheerabad. He was served as Mandal President of Zaheerabad. Abraham was credited for having successfully carried out the responsibility of being Mandal President.

His contribution to the party’s welfare impressed senior political leaders. As a result of this, he was eventually appointed the District President of Sangareddy in 2016. The authorities who recognize Abraham’s hard work, the pure effort for the well-being of the people appointed him as Constituency Incharge from Zaheerabad and he currently serving in the position.

Abraham joined the Mahajana Socialist Party and gave his active contributions to the party. The Mahajana Socialist Party(MSP) is a political party in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, India. The party was founded by Manda Krishna Madiga on 04 January 2014, who became its president. He was recognized as a key strategist for being instrumental in successfully working as a party activist.

Activities Carriedout by Abraham being MRPS Activist:

• Protesting against the attitude of Telangana Chief Minister KCR who made inappropriate remarks on the Constitution of India, the Manda Krishna Madiga organized a war protection conference in Hyderabad along with all the leaders of SC, ST, BC, minority and public associations. On this occasion, the leaders of MRPS urged everyone to work hard for the success of the preparatory meeting to be held at Ambedkar Bhavan in Sangareddy district center.
• Zaheerabad Constituency In-charge Abraham has met Manyashree Mandakrishna Madiga, who was present at the preparatory conference of Yuddhabheri Mahasabha for the protection of the Constitution in Sangareddy district.
  
• The SC, ST Atrocities Act and treason case should be registered against CM KCR at Zaheerabad Urban Police Station on the call of Hon’ble Shri Manda Krishna Madiga for making indecent remarks to change the Constitution of India and what is the relation between Dalits and Dalit communities about the Constitution of India. Zaheerabad constituency in-charge Abraham has lodged a complaint with DSP Shankar Raj.
• As part of the call of Madiga Student National Congress General Secretary Mandakrishna Madiga, a pamphlet was unveiled at the SC Hostel in Zaheerabad constituency with polytechnic students. On this occasion, MRPS leader Abraham asked the Madiga students to come in large numbers to Delhi and make the program success.
• There was a Maha Garjana of “Hello Madiga Vidyarthi Chalo Hyderabad” in Hyderabad for the legitimacy of SC classification reservations. Manda Krishna Madiga called on every MRPS leader to encourage youngsters from their respective villages to his district to come in large numbers to the Maha Garjana. As part of that, a meeting was arranged with students and youth at Ambedkar’s crossroads in Zaheerabad constituency.

Service During the Pandemic Covid-19:

-Abraham rendered his service to the Bagareddypally people even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food. He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Abraham put his effort even during the Covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people. Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
